Milly's refusal to give up on life and let it get her down made her one kick ass chick.
Abandoned by her parents at 5 years old Milly is left to sit in her own filth starving for days until her Poppy comes to her rescue. Growing up with him might not be normal compared to everyone else but for her it was the best.
When she's in college she meets Aaron the perfect all American boy. The guy that every girl wanted and they live happily ever after.
Yea freaking right!!!

All she is, is arm candy while he's screwing everyone and their dentist. She puts up with him for 6 years. Why? Because of his mother Francis. Talk about the ultimate, amazing mom and the bastard (aka Aaron) doesn't even appreciate her, but Milly sure does.

Caroline is trying to get through her second year of college alone after her best friend can't make it back to school after an accident over the summer. Sharing a dorm with the room mate from hell finally has a perk when a girl comes pounding on her door early one morning thinking she's the one her boyfriend cheated on her with. After identities are sorted out they become friends and when she meets Tara's brother Eric a lust bomb explodes. Even though he's arrogant Caroline can't stop thinking about him, but when she meets sweet and sexy Kyle she tries to get him out of her mind. As she begins seeing Kyle her few meetings with Eric leave her confused, but not as much as her dreams. Even though she barely knows him she can't seem to ignore the pull she has with Eric, but Kyle is the perfect guy. As she tries to sort out her heart who will she choose?

I loved the way this story played out where although it looks like a triangle  from reading the synopsis it is really tastefully done and you don't end up hating the main character for screwing over two guys. Caroline knows she has feelings pulling her in different directions, but the story doesn't disrespect either guy by making her into a bad guy.

Great read can't wait to see which other characters get their stories told next.

Our 3.5 Star Review

Serena is the lead detective on a case that get stranger and stranger by the day. A naked frozen body shaken to death , wolf prints that are too big for their own good, and evidence that runs in circles. Not to mention that the man she slept with just days prior is the main suspect according to a tracker who comes in with wild stories and an addictive personality she can't seem to ignore. Will she solve this case or will things get out of hand before everything comes to a head?

Serena as a female lead was okay, she is working in a guys world and trying to prove she didn't earn her place on her back. Problem is she doesn't seem to have a backbone when she needs it there at the beginning, but she definitely found it there at the end. Brody is intense and mysterious but in their few interactions you can see they have chemistry. And if Brody was intense, Wes is outta this world over the top intense. Strong and seductive you can't be 100% sure what's happening until the end. The story itself is interesting but it's the shifter aspect that left me wanting. I wanted to understand more of the backgrounds and abilities of the shifters in this world. And more background on Serena would have been nice too. Why did she want to be a detective? What about her family? Same thing for the other characters. Small things that make you feel connected to the characters and the story.

Our 4.5 Star Review

Tao is stuck injured and trapped in his wolf form and in a cage he has to hope that the sweet smelling woman won't decide to put him down. Aubrey wasn't expecting to see a naked man in the cage where the wolf she was taking care of used to be and she definitely wasn't expecting his story about the bite she received by another wolf to be a werewolf bite. Now she has to decide what to do with her world being turned upside down and Tao's insistence that he can help her. Tao wasn't expecting such a feisty woman to come to his rescue, but with the situation he's in town to deal with he'll have to figure out if they can help each other, if he can keep his hands off her that is.

Aubrey has curves and she's OKAY with them and that make her awesome, but she also has her values and no matter what she won't let anyone undermine even a sexy werewolf and that makes her a great heroine. Tao is an alpha male, a deliciously sexy one at that and while he does things his way he's not afraid to accept guidance from Aubrey when he can see the wisdom of what she says. I loved seeing these two work together and watch their story grow, and more than that the werewolf aspect was done beautifully. You are not left wondering what's going on and what ways the author is making this story hers you see the story she has created and are able to understand just what type of creature she has created no question such as "How did they do that? I don't remember reading about them being able to do that and suddenly they can?" I loved that about the book allot of time with shifter and werewolf type books you're scrambling to understand the story and that definitely is not the case here. Great read for romance and paranormal book lovers alike!

Our 3 Star Review

After having her heart broken Elora changes everything including moving to escape from her asshole ex. She stays at her Nana's home who is gone helping take care of a new grand baby. While there she merely survives until she becomes friends with her neighbor Thane. Is it just friendship or is there possibly more?

The basic storyline was okay if there would've been more depth to it. You got to know Elora and see who she is, but the confusion and inability for her and Thane to actually talk about their "relationship" nearly did me in. Throughout the story through misunderstandings and not talking about their feelings toward each other they caused one another so much grief. When trying to understand Thane's POV I was left wondering more about who he is and if he was military why he was working at a club it didn't make sense to me and it was never explained. Elora at least we understood and I liked seeing her growth especially over her feelings towards her relationship with her ex.

Overall this story left me wanting in many ways and questioning various things throughout.
