We've seen bits and pieces of Max and Chloe's story through the last two books, now we go back and see their story from the beginning through to their happy end.

Chloe went through something few could even comprehend and came out of it fairly well in tact. Max was the one who found her and her saw something special.

Max's beginnings weren't picture perfect if it wasn't for Archer things would have been much worse. When his old friend asks for help he's there in a heartbeat to do whatever he can, he just never expected Chloe.

They both have their ups and downs, hangups and buried feelings holding them back and it's up to them to find their way through.

Chloe has the spirit of a survivor, coming out of a three year kidnapping and then opening herself to love it was amazing that she was able to do it. So when Max becomes an idiot of course things are gonna spiral for her.

Max did one of the stupidest things ever by letting her go, but getting her back will be the challenge of his lifetime. He took her heart and trampled on it out of a misbegotten since of doing the right thing.

Watching the push and pull between these two you see that they are two halves of a whole and only together are they happy. I loved seeing them fight together and fight for each other and seeing their story through their eyes.

Ever so slowly I enter her. Never in my life have I wanted something to last forever. This feeling, this moment, right here, the love that I feel bursting from my chest, is something I’ve never felt before. It’s something I never felt like I deserved. But I feel like if I died today, I’d die a happy man knowing what true love feels like. This is what a man waits for his entire life. This is what being in love feels like.

She walks over to the window, pulls back the sheer white curtain, and stares out into what seems like nothingness. She places her forehead on the glass and slowly shakes it back and forth. I can’t stand to see her like this. I walk across the room and stand behind her. I question whether or not I should even touch her. My hand hovers over her arm as the hairs stand on end, begging me for my touch. Her mind is telling her no, but her body is crying out to me, begging me for help. Ever so softly I touch the back of her arms. She jumps and picks her head off the window, but doesn’t shrug it away. I run my hand down the back of her arms and bury my nose in the crook of her neck. I feel the goose bumps forming on her arms and I hear her breathing increase. I know she’s still in this broken shell. I know if I don’t do something now, I risk the possibility of never freeing her from her demons. And I know just what I need to do.

I am an “Indie” contemporary romance author. I live in California with my husband and two teenage boys. I absolutely love being a stay at home mom. 

I never liked reading as a kid. I only started reading romance novels in the past few years. My Kindle and I are inseparable now. A thought occurred to me in December of 2012 that maybe I could write a romance novel. So I went to work with the encouragement of my husband and my sister-in-law. It didn’t take long to figure out that I really enjoy writing. 

Today I am a self-published author and it has been an amazing journey.

I'm also a tad obsessed with tattoos and have thirteen scattered on my canvas. I'm an avid reader (literary whore to be more precise) averaging around 300 novels a year and wish I had time to read more. I currently work full-time in the Greenville area and fill my "extra" time (haha) with reading anything I can get my hands on and writing contemporary romance novels with a hint of erotica. This has been a dream of mine for years and I couldn't have done it without the support of my husband and BFF Tracy who both pushed me to keep going when I didn't have the confidence or the patience.

I was living the dream. I had a great career as a romance author, a successful boyfriend, and am the daughter to a New York power couple. With my standing, my family groomed me to be perfect. Despite having it all, something was missing in my life. 

In an attempt to break away from my privileged, suffocating life, I was in pursuit of finding my own path to happiness. After my literary agent gave me a risky writing assignment, I set out to write a best-seller that took me completely out of my comfort zone and into the arms of another man. He was only supposed to be a research toy, falling in love wasn’t a part of the plan. 

As I become tangled into a huge web of lies, I quickly find out that I have a life changing decision to make. Do I choose to continue living a life of comfort, stability, and misery or do I take a chance on the unknown to preserve my happiness?

Victoria Bright is from a small town in North Carolina and currently resides in Greenville, South Carolina. She has been writing since she was in the eighth grade, starting with small short stories. As her classmates began showing interest in her work, she began to write longer stories, filling multiple spiral notebooks with her thoughts. During her freshman year in high school, her English teacher encouraged her to enter a writing contest in which she won local, region and state levels. She has entered many writing contests since and have won a few. Figuring out she had a passion to share stories with anyone who would listen, she set out to write her first book Love Unbroken.

Victoria is very versatile in the genre of books she likes to read. Her book choice mostly varies on her mood, but she is particularly interested in crime stories, romance, teen fiction, sci-fi, and is now venturing a little in paranormal fiction. As for her own writing, she doesn't really put it into a category or genre. She just writes whatever is on her mind and lets it create itself!
