Alabama was taught from a very young age never to talk, it's a lesson she kept up with all these years. She doesn't trust and she stays invisible, until HE sees her.

Christopher wants what his teammate found, a forever person. He's tired of mean, shallow women who want him for his job not him. She saved him, she took care of him. When was the last time anyone even did that? He's determined to know her even if it means getting one of his buddies to find her address for him.

Alabama is shy and reserved with good reason, but throughout the story you see her come into her own. She's also sweet and caring when it comes to someone she find someone she ahas a connection to.

Christopher is a caregiver, he has always been the one to take care of others never having someone to care for him. He's an alpha male how know what he wants and goes for it full force.

Getting their relationship figured is just the start. They both have issues, but if they get through them it could be something good. But one stupid mistake could ruin it all. This story had it's ups and downs but overall made for a good read.

Some parts of this story take place in the same time frame as Book 1, this time from Sy or Holly's perspectives allowing you to see from their POV what happened with them right from the start.

Sy hasn't lived his life in a long time, hes just been existing. When Holly walks in with her sassy mouth he tries not to take notice but fails miserably. Holly is a light in the dark he never expected to find and she pulls him out though she doesn't know it at the time. So when it's her turn to need someone he's there for her.

Holly wants what she wants even if he is a bossy ass at times. When she loses the baby she is devastated, and terrified of him finding out exactly why she is so closed off these days.

This one is about them both having crap luck in life and finding in each other another chance to live. Sometimes they might be scared of their feelings or sharing their secrets, but that's what gives you the amazing ups and downs throughout this novel. You feel like you're right there with them as they experience everything. Loved seeing Sy and Holly's story and can't wait to see who's next!

“What the fuck are you doing in my club?” he asks again, moving his body closer.

“Your club?” I ask, raising my brow. “Last time I checked, I came here with my best friend, not to see you, so if you’ll excuse me,” I say, trying to push off the wall, but he steps right in, his knee coming between my legs.

“You gonna fuck him?” he growls, his eyes growing angrier by the second.

“Maybe,” I tell him, knowing he’s talking about Jesse. “I wonder if he will leave me standing naked after a quick fuck up against the wall,” I continue. His hold on me gets tighter. I know I shouldn’t tease him with my words, but he’s seriously delusional if he thinks he has any claim over me.

“I knew you were a tease, but I didn’t know you wanted to be a club whore,” he replies, and I try not to let his words sting.

You had me, fine, but it was mediocre at best, so keep your hands off me,” I snap, trying to get out of his hold.

“Mediocre?” he repeats back to me. I’m so pissed at his attitude I don’t falter in repeating it.

“At best.”

“Didn’t feel like that when your cunt was gripping my cock like a vice,” he throws back, his words causing my pussy to throb.

“That’s called pelvic floor muscle exercises,” I say, ignoring my body’s response to having him so close.
