Melessa is on a spa retreat with her best friend trying to escape from the troubles of her life. It's a chance at peace before she goes back to Boston to finish what she started. What she wasn't expecting was Derek. They share a passion neither was looking for and their not sure what will happen after their week in the desert is up. But once back in the real world dealing with her troubles she finds secrets that force her to rethink everything. Can what their had found in a week be enough to get them through everything for the rest of their lives?
Interesting story it was like you could feel Melessa's pain and insecurities throughout the story. You were sucked in wanting to help her figure out what was best for her and help her figure out her future. Loved Derek at he beginning and even more when we see all of him and his pain. Excited to read more from this author.
