Series: Beautifully Damaged #1
Author: L.A. Fiore
Re-Release Date: March 25, 2014
This edition of Beautifully Damaged has been extensively revised and includes new scenes.
Ember Walsh is a trusting soul with the quiet beauty of her late mother, who perished in a mysterious car crash when Ember was three. A little tomboyish from being raised by her father, Ember packs a punch when a stranger gets pushy with her in a bar, catching the steely blue eyes of a tall, gorgeous tattooed man—Trace Montgomery. Still damaged from her last disastrous relationship and warned off the bad boy by friends, Ember fights the smoldering heat that Trace sparks in her when he begins shadowing her like a dark angel.
Burdened by a lifetime of horror and heartbreak, amateur fighter Trace doesn’t want to want Ember. His deep self-loathing keeps him from having any meaningful relationships, but Ember is an itch he can’t scratch. The two push and pull, slowly crumbling their walls, seemingly brought together by fate, because the turmoil that haunts their pasts is interlinked in undeniable ways. But can these two fighters finally lay down their arms?
In Beautifully Damaged, L.A. Fiore delves into deep scars and lets love and forgiveness uncover redemption.

This review is based on the new revised edition that released on March 25th.
This book takes you on a crazy journey through a twisted relationship between Trace and Ember.
I hated this book and I love it all at the same time.
What happened in Trace's life was so tragic and it left him scarred beyond belief. He felt he deserved nothing but the darkness he brings on himself.
The love he receives from Ember s something he becomes scared to except. His fear is that he doesn't deserve what she gives...she is to good for him.
Trace blames himself for what happened to not only himself but to his sister. He should have done more and maybe he could have stopped it.
There were things in this story that drove me insane and I really just wanted to smack the piss out of a few people at times but watching Trace get the love he deserved made up for it.
No I did not agree with all aspects of this story but all in all the book held my interest.
Trace deserves happiness, he deserves to be loved unconditionally and Ember loved him regardless of all of his flaws...lord knows there were many.
“Trace, I love you truly, completely and hopelessly. You don’t have to suffer in silence anymore and I swear to God I will never let anyone hurt you again.”
