Welcome to the North Side.
Marcus Merritt doesn't chase women. He doesn't have to. But when the spirited and sexy blonde who left him wanting more shows up in his office looking for work, little things like the rules seem ready to be rewritten.
Amy Knight is smart, ambitious, and back home in Chicago to care for her mother. A courtesy meeting with one of the top lawyers in the city should be a boost to her career...
Until the polished green-eyed player turns out to be the same irresistible "random" she hooked up with at a friend's wedding in Wilmington. Bonus: He's the brother of her older brother's new wife. What the hell?!
Who's chasing whom? It all depends on the day. Or the night.
A STAND-ALONE, ONE TO HOLD NOVEL. Contemporary/Erotic Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.
4 Stars
Amy is the spitfire younger sister to our two favorite Knight men. We saw her in the last book a bit but now we see there is so much more to her story.
Marcus, Elaine's brother, had a one night stand a his sisters wedding that he can't seem to get out of his mind, and when she suddenly appears in his life he'll have to decide if his bachelor style life is how he wants things to continue to be or can he let this feisty woman become so much more to him?
Of course things are never that simple and even if one wants a relationship with the other it doesn't mean the other will. Amy will NEVER be tied down to a man, she is smart in her business life and when it comes to her personal one she has rules she strictly follows.
Rules are meant to be broken? Right? Well this time it's not without a ton of kicking a screaming, and even when those screams turn to moans these two have an uphill battle against them! Hot and steamy doesn't even begin to describe this one! A fan? More like an ice bath will be necessary to cool off!
Great addition to this series I love seeing more of everyone from the previous books in this series and enjoyed it thoroughly.
