“Hello?” I called timidly. I was answered with complete silence. Not even the birds were chirping. I glanced around and walked forward. My arms wrapped around the front of me, not for warmth but comfort.
I knew I was dreaming, but this was still kind of scary. There was a deer to my left, simply watching me. She was beautiful and majestic. She came toward me the moment I wished I could pet her. My hand slowly reached out and touched her coarse coat. Huge brown eyes looked into mine. There was no fear.
“You’re lovely,” I whispered.
“So are you,” a deep voice said from behind me.
I turned violently, scaring the deer off into the trees. Mr. Sexy was standing five feet in front of me. Jeans and a fitted white t-shirt clothed his fit body.
“You’re here.”
“Of course I am, where else would I be?”
“I thought…well, I wasn’t sure if this was our dream or just mine.”
“It’s ours, Livvie. It’s ours. Always ours.”
As soon as her skin touched mine, it happened. It was almost like an out of body experience, a movie that only I could see. I saw Juniper as a baby, small and cuddly in her mother’s arms. I saw her walking, talking, us meeting for the first time, the first day of every school year. Her whole life was passing, including the moment we were in. But then…then I saw her in that gorgeous black gown we had bought on Saturday. Her throat was slit. She was dead.

Felicia Tatum was born and raised in Tennessee. She always loved reading, and at the age of twelve began writing. Her passion for creating stories grew and in May 2012, she finally wrote her first novel, The White Aura.
She still lives in Tennessee with her daughter and her kitty. She loves cooking, books, and animals are some of her best friends. She watches a lot of Disney channel and often dreams up new book ideas. She's currently working on various projects. She's the author of the White Aura series, Scarred Hearts series, and Intoxicating Passion series.

Scott has known Olivia was his heart mate for more than a year, but he can't be with her until she's nearly 18 because of a horrible curse on his family. Luckily he found a way around at least part of it, but when weird things start happening to his Livvy he will have to figure out a way to save her without her being killed by the curse.
17 year old Olivia hasn't told anyone about the dreams shes been having of a boy shes never met before, but she's starting to think she is going crazy. Until she finds out he is really real and there's a reason he hasn't come to her in real life yet.
As the two begin to know each other and fall in love things go awry and they have to figure how to stop the bad guy and save not only themselves, but their family and friends from certain death.
Olivia is strong and sure of herself, but she knows when to ask for help. She takes things as they come and doesn't let the bad overcome the good whenever possible.
Scott is a sweetie and a protector even when there are others who can protect themselves. He has a bossy attitude but knows when to step aside to let others who know more take control.
Their story is a whirlwind of twists and turns and you never see the next one coming. There are good time and allot of bad but I loved seeing these two as they learned to work things out together.
There were also allot of other amazing characters in this story so many that made this an even more enjoyable read that you truly feel like you are right there in their world living these events with them. A great series and I'm excited to see the spin off series as it comes out too!
