Life works in mysterious ways. Four years ago I became known as the girl with cancer. I refuse to cry. And I refuse to give in. A relationship with a man is the last thing I’m looking for right now, but one night with Parker changes everything. He is persistent, and he knows what he wants. Me. He doesn’t treat me like I’m fragile. But he doesn’t know, and I’m not ready to tell him. What if it changes everything? Tragedy found me when I was seventeen. Love found me when I was twenty-one. My name is Aundrea McCall, and this is my journey.

About Amanda:

Our 4 Star Review
Aundrea has been battling cancer for four years. She has her family and a few friends and she's going through life the best she can. What she doesn't need is a relationship, after all once someone knows her secret they run away. When she goes off from her normal style and goes home with a man with amazing eyes she has the night of her life, but in the morning she leaves before he wakes up and things become awkward. What she wasn't counting on was seeing him again as her brother-in-laws new partner in his vet business! Parker is persistent and as they become closer will the secrets Aundrea keeps tear them apart or bring them closer together?
Aundrea tries to act tuff for her family but inside she needs someone to lean on too. Parker is absolutely perfect and just the kind of guy you want on your side. I enjoyed the story and seeing the struggles and happiness Aundrea went through although sometime I felt like I was just waiting for something to happen. We finally got to see Parker's POV which is something I definitely would have liked at times through out but it didn't happen until the tissues necessary ending.
