Nikki is a stripper and usually stays away from the patrons, but lately the man in the back has captured her attention night after night. When they finally meet she does a private dance for him and he breaks all the rules by touching and kissing her. Of course Nikki doesn't mind and the two stop fighting the intense attraction between. Jax has his secrets but he can't deny the pull Nikki has on him and with murders happening practically at her doorstep by a mysterious creature he knows he has to protect her and hopefully make her his in the process.
Nikki is am amazing strong woman I enjoyed how she was able to be herself no matter who she was with. Jax was a yummy alpha who knows what he wants but is still trying to get everything sorted out.
In part two Jax has revealed who he is to Nikki and she's still there with him. Now as they become closer they also have to figure out what the wolf like creature really is and why it is killing. While Nikki is learning more and more about Jaxs' world she fights to figure out her feeling for him while struggling to come to terms with her new employer and her suffering friendship with Lori.
Loved this short Novella series and seeing all the different aspects brought together to make this feel like it was longer than it really was. Seeing Nikki learn to overcome her past and Jax growing and figuring out how to be the Alpha he was meant to be. I enjoyed the changing POV's because it allowed you to see how each person was feeling. Great Novella series.
