Aubree had something she can't get passed and it's kept her from her hometown for 9 long months. Making excuses to her Aunt about why she can't come home for holidays or school breaks. But when her Aunt ends up in the hospital she comes back to the places she never intended and runs into the one person she wasn't sure she ever wanted to see again. Booker is one of the 3 Outlaw triplets and he's always cared for Aubree even through a secret they shared of what really happened last summer. As they get closer to each other and secrets threaten to spill can they really ever be together of is it just a childhood fantasy?
Mystery, Suspense, Romance, and good old Cajun cooking all wrapped up in one great package with an amazing mix of humor tossed in. Aubree was the quite type just waiting for someone to help bring her out of her shell and Booker was just the guy to do it. Loved the verbal sparing between these two and how the story came together.

Verity is the preachers daughter and was totally off limits in high school especially to an Outlaw. Even though Boone wanted her he kept away at least that's what he thought, but with his alcohol and drug uncased haze back then he's wondering if he really stayed away especially after a few interesting encounters. Now he's trying to piece together what really happened graduation night and Verity is finding out her version of what she thought happened that night isn't quite right either. They've both always wanted each other but can they overcome some major obstacles and some gigantic secrets?
I loved getting back into the Outlaw world and seeing another brother's struggles and success. Boone is so broken down in the beginning but seeing him brought up was an amazing journey to follow. Verity had some bad information but once she began to find out the truth her journey was just as incredible, especially after learning what really happened.
I'm enjoying this series as a whole and can't wait to see more!!
