Alex has been in an unloving and abusive marriage for more than 20 years, staying only for the sake of her daughter. When she finds out she's the unexpected heir to a fortune Alex finally has the courage to leave. Now at 42 she's finally starting to learn to live her life. Wanting to be an active owner she gets to general manager to show her the ropes of the business and along the way the two fall for each other. But with James being so much younger than her the insecurities of her past creep up at the most unexpected of times. And with an ex like hers the past doesn't seem to stay away.

Alex is such a unique character strong at some times, but deep down you see how much she truly needs James and his love. James is your typical Alpha male, I loved how he said what he wanted and wasn't afraid of who know it. The two together seem an unlikely match until you see how their feeling balance each other. This story has a little bit of everything and oh the Strawberries!!! Interested to see where Alex and Jame's story goes and how it unfolds.

As Alex and Jame's love story continues and we see them going together even more, Alex's past becomes even more of an issue for the pair. With her ex being even more devious than they ever expected and new information coming to light the two's trials and attempts to move forward become more complicated at every turn.

There's even more of a mystery to this one where you try to figure out "who done it" at many turns along the way. We see even more of James' devotion to Alex as he helps give her the strength to heal from her past. We see more of the family Alex never knew she has and become quite attached to the lot of them, and startling revelations keep you on your toes throughout. Loved seeing more of how their story evolves an watching Alex come out of her shell. Can't wait to see how it all finishes for this couple.

Eternally Alex

Synopsis

New evil, hungry for revenge on behalf of another and feeling shunned by rejection brings misery and anguish to the duo. Their journey is not without sorrow and pain as their encounter with those of a heinous nature proves more than they can handle.

An attack they suffer threatens their very existence together but love will win, leaving them free to fulfil their lives dreams together surrounded by their family they can only grow stronger and stronger.

Conclusion the this drama driven romance.

With Alex's ex finally completely out of the way Alex and James have started their lives as a married couple. Coming back from their honeymoon the unexpected happens and now it's Jame's past causes quite the commotion for them this time around. As the two are trying to settle into their lives and sort out how to separate themselves from their businesses so they can enjoy being together and eating lots and lots of Strawberries someone James thought was long gone come in and causes a stir.

Seeing Alex and James never waver about their love for each other and support each other even through the toughest times you truly see how much devotion they have to one another is just too sweet. Even when times get tough they have learned how to deal with things as a couple and never leave the other to figure things out on their own.

Seeing the end of the series was bittersweet. We've seen them go through so much and have grown so much together. It's been interesting learning more about their pasts and family histories throughout each story and see how they all take care of each other. Loved seeing them finally get their happily ever after even if it took some heartache to get them there.

Sarah Elizabeth Ashley – Biography

Sarah is a first time British writer born and raised in the Midlands county of Staffordshire where she still lives today with her family.

Forbidden to use her 'real' name by her children Sarah has been saying  for years that she had a book "in her".  Like most parents, the time to sit down and put those ideas onto paper seemed nothing more than a dream.  As her children have grown, she finally found the time and quite literally let the words flow as her first novel, Freeing Alex, was created, the characters coming to life on her laptop, followed by Loving Alex, Eternally Alex, and more to come with fourth novel Never Say Love.

Sarah describes herself as a true Piscean with an over-active imagination and says that it took a great deal of courage to release 'Freeing Alex', which after completion was destined to be shelved.  However, motivated by her family she finally took the plunge and self published in August 2013.
