Gabriel has been trying to keep his hands off his friends sister for a year, but when Ember is hurt he knows he can't stay away anymore. Ember has been in love with Gabe for a long while now but thought it was a one sided crush when she finds out different, even if the circumstances were extreme she goes forward with him at full force. There's allot of drama, with a gang coming after her, and then there's a whole lotta crazy with his ex on top of it. Their relationship might be starting under some crazy circumstances, but together they can get through anything.....Right?

Ember is my type of heroine, she's kick ass with a side of don't take crap from anyone. She speaks her mind and doesn't care who she pisses off doing it and she takes care of her own, weather their family by blood or not she protects those she's closest to fiercely.

Gabe is a take charge guy with the skills to back it up. He goes into things whole heartily and does everything possible to help those around him. He matches Embers fire with his own, they also balance each other out.

The story was interesting taking many twists and turns keeping you interested throughout.

On a side note I will say I read this as a standalone and while it worked ok as such there were details and information that were probably in the first one that would have helped me understand some things in this one. As well as helping keep track and understand the secondary characters and keep track of them better. For others I would recommend reading it first.

Romance books are my vice, and you will never catch me not reading something. I've had Boomtown's story floating around in my brain for some time, and finally decided to just go ahead and write it.
