For Stone of Destiny
The story continues right where book one cut off and Allison finds herself in even more situations with the Danaan's and they crazy world she's come to realize she's a part of. She also realizes what will happen will happen and decides to go for it with Ethan, but is it too late now that he's acting like he completely hates her? With more craziness coming to her door she has to decide what to do about everything she's learned....and who to trust.
Allison is a stronger character in this one, coming into her own and learning to be more comfortable in her own skin. She comes to terms with allot of things and makes decisions not only based on what is best for her mom, but also what makes her happy. We see more of this world and those that would cause harm to Allison and those she cares for.
This series has definitely peaked my interest and kept me glued to every turn on the pages wondering what would happen next. I for one can't wait for book 3 in this trilogy to come out!!
4 STARSI led him into the foyer and shut the door behind him. He followed me to the dining room and when I sat, he took the seat beside me. He caught my eyes and raised his brows expectantly.
“Niamh asked me to go to Tír na n’Óg with her and Liam.”
“What, you mean go right now?” Ethan asked.
I nodded. “She doesn’t want to wait until Aoife makes a move. In a way I agree with her.”
“Did you tell me you needed to talk so you could just tell me you were leaving?”
I glanced up at him. “Yes, I hoped you’d understand.”
“No Allison. I don’t understand,” he said, jumping up so fast the chair nearly fell over.
I hesitated. “Niamh came by after you left last night. I know there’s a lot going on here, but I’ve thought about it all night. The sooner we take care of the threat Aoife poses on all of us, the better.”
Ethan stared at me, his face hard. “I understand that part. But I told you whatever happens, I’m coming with you.”
“What?” I said, shaking my head. “You can’t.”
“Like hell I can’t.” He crossed his arms, eyes narrowed. “You’re not leaving me behind this time.”
For The Forgotten Ones
All Allison ever wanted was to be able to take care of her mother who is schizophrenic. Relationships and love and not part of the plan even though she's loved Ethan for most of her life. She won't act on it because it's not part of "the plan" what she also wasn't expecting was her father's sudden appearance. The man whom she thought abandoned her mother all her life and the weird thing is he looks like he hasn't aged a day, then his stories start and Allison begins to wonder if she's as crazy as her mother. As she works to unravel the mystery that is Liam strange things start happening and on top of that Ethan becomes more persistent towards trying to show her how interested in her he really is. Allison is a bit of a loner she thinks she's happy with the way her life is but you can tell she's really just going through the motions. Ethan has a charm about him that makes you want to know more while also wondering how sincere he really is, but deep down you know he's a good guy. You see the sparks between them even though Allison tries to deny her feelings time and time again. Allison is smart and when determined no one can stand in her way I loved her strength and how she dealt with situations. This story is a little different from allot of the paranormal books I've recently read and it's interesting enough to keep you turning the pages and wondering what's going to happen next. I'm excited to see what will happen in the next book!
Thank you so much for being part of the tour
