Paranormal Protection Agency Books 6&7 By Mina Carter

Dragon's Honor (Paranormal Protection Agency, #6)

It was supposed to be a simple job. Bodyguard duty for a wealthy businessman's daughter. But the Paranormal Protection Agency don't do simple so shadow-dragons Baron and his brother Duke find themselves going undercover as human of all things. Their mission: to protect Miss Croft and dig up some dirt on her father to tie him to the illegal trade in paranormal slaves rife in the city.

Dissent and rumors amongst the staff at the Croft house make them wary, but neither expect redcaps and trolls to attack in the middle of the night, or for the most startling revelation of all: Honor Croft is Baron's mate.

When a crazed warlock steals her away, will Baron be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to save her?

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Baron and Duke get a protection gig by what neither was expecting was for either of the shadow dragons to find their mates. Baron is the more sociable of the two and as point on this detail things get turned up a notch when he realizes their client is his mate.

Honor doesn't want a bodyguard, but she'll do as her father requests and keep him close, of course she wasn't expecting a hard body hottie like Baron.

With an unknown threat close by it'll take everything he's got to keep his new found mate safe.

Baron is a bit on the quite side, but he's loyal and caring to the core. Honor isn't some prissy socialite, she's a tough as nails hardcore chick. She's not afraid to speak her mind or go up against anyone.

I loved the banter between the brothers and their push pull relationship keeps you on your toes wondering wants they'll do next to each other. And the banter between Honor and Baron are two perfect counterparts for each other, they both feel the other and even though they don't know each other long they did trust each other.

This one is longer than some of the stories in the series so far and I loved the more in depth knowledge to the characters. Can't wait for more and to See Duke and his mystery mate!

Dragon's Chase (Paranormal Protection Agency, #7)

He’s found his mate. But can he convince her that he’s her dragon?

Working for the Paranormal Protection Agency has never been boring, but shadow-dragon Duke didn’t expect to meet his mate in the line of duty. He certainly didn’t expect a warrior every inch his match, or for her to slap him across the ass with her tail and take off across the city.

With Baron on a very personal protection detail, Duke has to fly solo on the pair’s investigation into the warlock who nearly killed Baron’s mate. Just one problem, his mate is working with the warlock. So, dead or alive, he has to bring her in…

She found the one thing she didn’t want. Her mate. Now she needs to get rid of him before he ruins her mission…

Sleeping for centuries has it’s drawbacks, Chase knew that going in. What she didn’t expect was to wake with a Warlock’s spelled collar around her neck and to find her charge, the Queen’s daughter, in a cage. Vowing to free them both will take skill and strength and she doesn’t need the distraction of a hot as hell male dragon trying to make his claim on her. Even though her heart aches to complete their joining, she can’t. Not yet.

The mission, or her heart. Can she have both? Or will she need one to complete the other?

This book is part of the PPA series:
1. Hard as a Rock
2. Between a Rock and a Hard Place
3. Protect and Service
4. Seduced by Santa
5. Close Protection

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Duke wants what his brother just got, a mate and luckily from his he just found her. Too bad she seems to be working for the bad guy, but it's his mate and he'll do anything it takes to have her. The last thing Chase needed was to find her mate, sure it's what she always wanted but she's got stuff to do, mainly save the princess and get rid of the collar that's holding her captive to the will of a madman. But every time they get close her resistance crumbles and she can't hold on much longer, but should she really hold back?

Duke is an alpha male and what he wants he gets including his mate, but he just met his match and he loves it, well mostly, when she's not running off on him at least. Chase is a kick butt chick who knows how to take care of herself and will do what it takes to protect those under her care. These two are a perfect for each other they match each other punch for punch and tail for tail. They are the same but different and they bring out the best in each other. I enjoyed seeing how they worked together or rather how Duke tried to take over and Chase did her own thing anyway and how they figured things out in the end.

I read this as a stand alone and it worked well that way so weather you're new to this series or not it's a great read!!
