Caliana won't let her crummy job hold her back anymore, after quiting she decides she needs some well deserved R&R and goes to the cabin her inherited from her aunt. She was expecting a few days of peace and quiet before going back home and looking for a new job. She wasn't expecting Owen, the boy she had a crush on after high school is now a man 10 years later.
He let her get away all those years ago but he won't let his second chance go to waste. Owen is determined to do everything it takes to prove to Cali how good they could be together and win her once and for all.
Cali isn't the type of woman who'll let others dictate her life, she decides what she wants and goes after it. She's smart and funny and knows when to do things herself and when to let others help her.
Owen at first glance is shy and unsure, but as the story goes on you see through his actions the depth of his feelings. When it comes to those closest to him he treats them as family and would do anything to help them and protect them.
Just when things are looking up for their future trouble comes for them and they'll have to trust in each other if they want the future they've always dreamed of.
