G’Day, I’m TP Hogan.

I'm an Aussie born and bred and I've lived both in the bush and in a Capital City; with a couple of stops along the way. Right now I live on the coast in Far North Queensland, which is an interesting experience; since swimming in surf, battling jellyfish and removing sand from all sorts of places are not favourite pastimes.

Writing on the other hand, is a favourite pastime. I write down the voices in my head & call them Characters. When they interact I call them Stories. Once published I call them Books. The best thing about having them published is that you can…Escape…and explore hidden worlds.

When not writing, I have a full time day job, a full time husband, practice the violin, make jellies & am an occasional Radio DJ.

Nova lives a normal life as a photographer, until one night on the roof of her apartment she sees her new neighbor fly off into the night. Yup I said fly as in superman style. But after that things get even weirder for her when she gets an electric zap from a guy at the ice cream shop and all the sudden she seems to be getting powers. Oh and light seems to kill her eyes making sunglasses an absolute must these days.

Finding out your flying neighbor is really a nephilm and now she's suddenly turning into one is just the beginning, when the guy who zapped her kidnaps her she has to figure out her strange abilities fast and then figure out how to save herself. Plus there the whole who to trust question.

Nova is strong, independent, and self assured. She's happy and content with her life even with her best friend trying to set her up on dates all the time. When everything changes for her she has her freak out moment but doesn't let her new circumstances get her down for long. She does what she needs to do to figure things out and continue on with life.

The characters in the story were interesting and the storyline itself keeps you interested and guessing at every turn. I enjoyed getting into this new world and am excited to see more of it!
