Enter a world with Lion shifters, where to live you mus be part of a pride and if you want to really prosper you are part of a premier's pride. A premier is stronger, faster, bigger, just plain better in every way. One out of every 5000 lion shifters born is one, but in order to truly live and prosper they need a Siphon. One who can take their excess power so they don't die prematurely.

Hugh's pride is happy and prosperous so that means all is good for him, until his siphon does something that could've hurt the pride majorly. Now he has to get to know, and understand, the man who has been his shadow for 10 years and what he learns is astounding and enlightening.

Hugh is not just a alpha he is The Alpha and he has nearly 2000 likes that he cares for, but after some shocking discoveries he realizes that while he is there for everyone who is there for him? He can never show weakness, to do so would cause unrest in the pride. He's been alive for more than 100 years, but he still has things to learn.

Johnnie is a sweetie, his whole life has been spent in books and following someones shadow. He is smart in many ways, but naive in others.

Together the two learn what happiness really is, even if it's something most shifters in their world don't understand.

Great read I absolutely loved going on this journey with these two and seeing them as they learn about each other and the things they have been unknowingly been missing.
