Kyndel is made of tougher stuff than most and she is just the type of heroine I love. She is not one to be run over by anyone, she makes her own choices and decisions. She is full of grit and can take on even the toughest warrior.
Rayne knows to trust in things he can't always see, but it's a whole new ballgame when it comes to a woman entering his life as his mate. There's the term caveman, but I think the notch above that is definitely Dragonman!
We learn allot about this world and see not only these two but Raynes brothers who will all get their stories throughout this series. You get a glimpse of each of them in this one and I can't wait to read them all!

Aiden has lived with incredible guilt for more than 6 years and now that the truth of that night is out and his brother is alive and turned into a mad man he is determined to do whatever it takes to bring him to justice. What he wasn't expecting was the reason for it all to come waltzing in the door like she owns the place.
Grace is trying to understand her friends drastic changes in life and is doing the best she can with what information she has. Taking care of her apartment is the least she can do and if she gets to smell the best smelling man alive when she is there......well who can blame her for a few extra visits the Kyndels apartment?
Neither was ready for the other but with Andrew and other dangerous forces out there they must come together to protect each other.
Grace is all about facts. As a lawyer she has a knack for defending her point of view and if you are in her way she can and will talk you out of it.
Aiden did what he thought was best all those years, but now that hes gotten close to her there's no way he can let her go again, not that she'll let him without her say ;) He's is hard headed with a good heart, and these two together is pretty entertaining when their POV's a different. You never know who is gonna get the last word.
We see more of the storyline as Andrew comes full force into things trying to get revenge. There are also forces at work that keep you guessing as to what's going on throughout. I loved Grace and her spunk and Aiden as he comes to terms with the brother he thought he lost and a mate he thinks he doesn't deserve.

My oh my Mister funny guy himself! I thought he'd be one of the last to find a mate, but wow does he get a good kick in the pants for thinking he can deny fate and what a blast it was to see him taken down by Love!
Dr. Sam has overcome allot in her life as an orphan and then just as she was really doing great with her life someone kidnapped her. But she came out of it all in tact and stronger than ever and her saviour from the kidnapping still holds a place in her dreams even all these months later.
Lance thinks he can stay away, but when the traitor comes after Sam can he accept her into his life and protect her? Plus the cutie of a surprise no one ever saw coming?
This is a push and pull. He tries to push himself away from her but the universe pulls him closer weather he likes it or not. He is one stubborn man er Dragon and as the one determined to never have a mate I loved seeing his change of heart as things unfolded.
More evil traitor antics to keep things interesting and a five foot two fighting machine I can't wait to see more of in the next book!

Royce. He might be a giant of a Dragon, but he's a teddy bear at heart. From the beginning I've had a soft spot for this "gentle giant" and couldn't wait to see him find his mate and happiness after all out of all the guys so far he is the one you'd definitely wouldn't fight fate right? Oh but where the fun in that?
Kyra five foot two of pure fiestyness and absolute sass out of all the girls introductions her was but far the most awesome with the hilarity of a little waif of a woman cussing up a storm causing me to laugh until I cried. She seems like a sweetie and I though there's not way Royce and her won't do great right from the get go. But boy was I wrong and all because of one little thing. She's a witch.
Royce go from teddy bear to grizzly because of a past he can't seem to forgive. Can he see the errors of his ways before he loses the best thing in his life?
Kyra is strong and sure of herself and she is open to so much, but when she is sut down deeply by Royces words and actions even if he sees the wrong of what he did can the stubbornness of this little lady forgive him?
Talk about a test of wills!!! Their journey is by far the most intense of them all and I enjoy each book more and more!
