Not every love story is just a happy ending. Some completely change your life.
5 Star Review
Liz's life spiraled after the shocking death of her husband. Each day she does what she has to in order to keep going, especially for her boys, but on the inside she is broken.
Reynolds is the hottest star in Hollywood even if he is now 40 years old. Finding out his relationship with Hollywood's hottest starlet was nothing more than a lie he goes back home to visit his parents and regroup. What he learns on the trip pushes him to pursue a new venture in writing a screenplay and seeing it made into a movie. Learning about Jack Atwater he knows it is a story the world needs to know. Convincing his will to tell it though might be tougher than he thought.
Liz is a strong woman broken down by loss, who finds new life in seeing her late husbands work come to life in the telling of his story. Letting Reynolds get to know all about Jack and his work is freeing to her, but getting to know the famous star also helps her see there can be more in her life.
Reynolds is a sweetie, he hasn't let fame overtake him in such a way that he became an a**. He is down to earth allowing things to happen as they will and even if it's different from his norm he is open to new things.
Their story is raw, emotional, and real. The characters are so well told you feel as if you're really getting to know them as real live people. You feels their happiness and sadness as though it is your own. And their trials become yours. I found myself rooting for them to find their HEA, and ready to knock down the characters that stood in their way.
Great read and definitely keep a few tissues close by for a few scenes!
