Heart of Steele
Actress Tracy Hartman can't believe she just punched country music superstar Steele McLairn in the mouth. And of course, somebody recorded it! Now, the thing has gone viral and to avoid their being harassed by the tabloids, Steele convinces Tracy to head out of LA with him. In a cozy, remote spot, they find the desire they've been feeling for each other has grown into full-blown lust. Steele can't believe his luck. Alone with Tracy, and all it took was taking a punch to the mouth. She's funny, sweet, sexy, and ready to experience every wild thing Steele hungers to do with her. But their time together is cut short, and hidden family issues threaten the trust they've built. Can they find the courage to confide in each other, or will their secrets force them apart?
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Tracy just knows she's gonna get fired, after all she did punch Steele a country music star. What happens though is better than she ever expected a trip to the mountains with Steele to hide away until media frenzy calms down. They've been flirting for more than a year, is all there is between them lust or could it be more? But with secrets between them will it end things before they really get started?
Tracy is a strong independent woman who wants to be able to take care of herself and her mother. She good to the core even through she's had hard times in the past. Steele is sweet and caring he's gotten so busy with his career that he's forgotten why he started singing in the first place. Tracy helps bring him balance even with everything going on in his life. The two together are ying and yang working together to bring each other happiness. I loved the funniness at their situation at the beginning and how they deal with the fall out. Great story with many different aspects that add depth to the characters.
