Addison has been in love with Cade since she was a little girl, but he never gave her the time of day until a year ago. Now she finally has him or so she thought until she sees and hears things to the contrary. Can she mend the broken heart Cade gives her of will they find a way to work things out?
Addison is a strong independent female except when it comes to Cade. There she left her feelings cloud her judgement and allow him to walk all over her.
Cade is a self-centered ass. I absolutely HATED him he set standards for Addison that he didn't follow himself. He didn't take her feelings into account and he lied and kept things from her saying he simply omitted them when really he was being a two timing jerk.
The storyline just takes right off and while throughout you get some background there were still times when I was left trying to figure out why they did some of the things they did. The story evolves and Addison grows, but it's not until the end that Cade finally gets his head out of his ass and realizes what he has and how he feels.
The story was hot, cold, pissed you off, made you laugh, suspense and love and so much more all rolled into one. I had a love/hate relationship with it throughout and wonder just how pig headed the rest of the Club Mystique men will be.
Jackson's Sub
A year ago Jenna Parnelle spent one night of passionate submission with Jackson Ramsey before he sent her away. He believed his jealousy would destroy their relationship. She believes he was slumming with the chubby girl from the poor side of town. A year later, irresistibly drawn to each other, Jenna agrees to be Jackson’s sub for three weeks, intending to get him out of her system once and for all while refusing to risk her heart again.

Jenna has loved Jackson from afar for a long time, but he's always ignored her. One confusing encounter at the river and Jackson stays away from her for two years until Jenna nearly dies and Jackson can no longer hold himself back. But then he pulls back after their night of passion and leaves Jenna more insecure than ever. A year later with her best friends wedding around the corner Jenna is forced to come back and face Jackson who now refuses to leave her alone. Can the two be more than a pain in the others ass or will they repeat history once again.
Jenna is a feisty woman who doesn't take crap from anyone... except a certain persistent Dom named Jackson. Jackson is coming to terms with truths kept from him since childhood and now realizes just how much he wants Jenna. He's strong and caring in his own way and will do anything to keep her safe. The two together make for a great match and I enjoyed seeing their back and forth.
I enjoyed this one better than the first although at the beginning I was confused about the timeline for a little while. The story is interesting adding a bit of mystery and danger to this and not just love and lust. The characters all fit together well and I'll definitely be looking for more of this series.
Thank you for the review. I appreciate you taking the time to read my books. I hope you're having a great day with lots of sunshine.
