After her twin brother dies in a house fire, firefighter Katrina Hale is determined to prove she’s stronger than the flames. But while her focus on her career leaves little room in her life for romance and her current relationship fizzles, she soon discovers fighting fires is nothing compared to the scorching desire she feels in fellow firefighter Greyson Neal's arms. Firefighter Greyson Neal is the type of guy girls dream about when they want their knight in shining armor to wear bunker gear. But he’s not interested in fulfilling every girl’s fantasies. Now he wants the one woman he can never have, and she seems hell-bent on getting herself killed to prove that she’s worthy of her job. Kat must choose between her career and her heart, and fight to keep them both when an arsonist threatens to take it all away

Kat was a hard ass. She took no shit and could hang with the boys on her squad.
Being the only woman in the firehouse didn't stop her she was one of the best...she gave it her all. Sometimes giving it her all got her in a heap of trouble too.

She was dating Eric...who was also a Firefighter, but form another Station. He was distant and never really took much time to show her that her cared.
Now Greyson (The Other Brother) on the other hand was the complete package. The only problem was...he was forbidden for a list of reasons.

1. He was Eric's Brother
2. He was at the same station on the same crew
This would only cause trouble for the both of them if it went any further than friends...

So why was it so hard for Kat and Greyson to keep to professional...Well let me see did I mention they had extreme sexual chemistry?

Eric wasn't the man Kat thought he was...he wasn't the man anyone thought he was. He had some heavy secrets of his own. Everyone was shocked when his secrets unfolded. But he wasn't the only one that had secrets...

This book left you puzzled throughout with each turn it took. At times I was like What? I didn't see that one coming...but then boom something else happened that blew the first puzzle out of your mind leaving you with a new one to figure out.
