Publisher: Swoon Romance
Following the death of her vampire uncle, twenty-one-year-old CAITRIONA HAYDEN finds herself in the midst of a trio of quintessential alpha male suitors in 22nd century sovereign America where human females should be seen and not heard.
Theo Pendragon claims her as his ward, ordained to guard her through to a long-awaited destiny unbeknownst to Cait, but finds more than he expected when passion ignites within the dragon for the first time. Always drawn to the pursuit of knowledge rather than the heat of desire, powerful demigod Dante cannot deny everything his future holds in Caitriona. America’s monarch, ancient vampire Corrin, has no interest in the frivolity of love, yet marrying Cait could be the answer to his continued survival.
Soon, Cait goes from studying for college exams to choosing a husband in seven days, knowing the consequences are eternal, the love undying, and the bond timeless.

Cait is dealing with the death of her Uncle and in the world she lives in 21 isn't old enough to take care of herself. But because of her situation and wealth it's complicated finding someone appropriate to care for her, Cait is unique in many ways and how the King chooses to protect her is shocking. Faced with not one but three suitors she must decide who she could live and love for her life. As she learns more about each one as well as herself who will she chose and as she too changes who will choose her?
Cait is strong and smart, knows when to talk and when to listen, she knows how to talk to people and get them to listen to her. Her life is changing but she is determined to find what is best for her and what makes her happy. She goes with the flow, but she is also ahead of the curve. There are many way to describe her but to put it simply she's awesome.
Her suitor each have their own positives and negatives, and as they get to know her they each grow. They story is interesting if not a bit hard to understand with the complexity of the world created. It wasn't very well explained and let me confused at times. As the story continued you understand some things but with others I still found myself trying to figure out what things were or why other things were they way they were.
