In book one we read about the trials both Bain and Arion face.

They have both had to face terrible loss and learn to cope.

They find salvation in one another and over time things become easier to handle.

But just when things start to come together and they find a way out of the darkness, the past reappears.

Book one leaves you hanging on the edge of your seat, needing to know WHAT NEXT?

Book Two picks up just at that point, filling in all the blanks and causing that emotion that leaves your throat burning.

You find out what happened to Nate and why he was unable to contact Arion or his family. Arion is torn between you past and her future. Feeling lost and not knowing what step to take next.

I felt for Nate and for Bain. They both needed her so desperately and loved you so deep. Neither man wanted to lose her, but Arion had to make that choice.

Emotions run high, old habits resurface and hearts are broken.

What choice will Arion make? Who holds her heart and who will she be forced to walk away from?

At times the story was slightly predictable and one or twice the timeline was a little off, but all in all this was a great addition to the first book in this series.

I am sensing another installment is in the future for this series though... the man left behind, he needs a story now.
