Blurb:

Eliza Reve knows that her ability to dream of future events sets her apart from others. Her gift became a curse when she wasn't able to save her mother or the alpha's son and she found herself exiled - a lone wolf. When she joins the Black River Pack, Eliza vows never to reveal her talent to anyone. Not even the man who has walked in her dreams for years.

Spencer Tate is her mate, but her visions have told her that he will renounce her. When he doesn't recognize her as his mate, she agrees to the no-strings-attached affair he offers because she thinks it's the most she can hope for. Although her heart breaks as she falls deeper in love with him, she wants to spend as many days with Spencer as possible before he kicks her out of his life.

When Spencer finally comes to his senses, he has his work cut out for him to convince Eliza that he wants her forever. When another she-wolf insists she's his mate instead, things get even more complicated. But Spencer isn't the alpha's second and enforcer because he isn't willing to fight for what's his, and he refuses to settle for anything less than Eliza as his marked and claimed mate.

This is book two in the Black River Pack series. Each novella will feature a different couple.

Pagan is the best vampire hunter money can buy. But, when she’s paid to kill one of the most powerful vampires in existence, she gets in way over her head. When things go south there will be no escape.

But when Pagan's protection evaporates and an enemy from her past tries to murder her and her brother she'll be forced to trust Nyx. Because really, who is the larger threat? The man out to destroy mankind? Or the vampire determined to own her heart?

The Devil's Trap Excerpt © Honoria Ravena
I lunged, knife out, ready to slash at him. He jumped back in time to avoid the full blow, but I still caught him across the arm.
He hissed and glared at me. "You're sloppy, Pagan, you need more practice."
I smirked at the sight of blood. Oh yeah, I was going to enjoy causing him pain. He deserved it after what he'd done to my brother. "I got a slice of you, didn't I?"
"Sure, but that should've been a much more damaging blow than this little nick. You only got me because I thought I'd rolled your mind. I won't make that mistake again."
He disappeared in a blur of speed. He was too fast for my human eyes to track him. I spun around, expecting him to come at me from behind. He appeared by my side and knocked my knife hand. The blade went spinning.
I jumped back but stopped mid-retreat. I didn't want to escape him. I wanted him to pull me against his body, to forgive me for hurting him.
What was wrong with me? I was here to kill him. I didn't need his forgiveness.
He took a hesitant step toward me, and part of me yelled to draw my other knife while the other part demanded I caress his wounded arm and make sure I hadn't hurt him too badly.
A fog washed over my mind when he ran his hands up and down my arms. "Give me your knives, all of them."
"Don't give him jack shit, Pagan!"
I peered around Nyx and saw my brother. Deathly pale, with a sheen of sweat marking his face, my brother swayed on his feet. He leaned against the doorframe of the hallway, as if he couldn't stand on his own. I moved to go around Nyx. I needed to make sure he was okay, but Nyx seized my arm in a vise-like grip, stopping me in my tracks.
The master vampire frowned at my brother with disapproval. "How did you get away from Laedan?"
The corner of Jason's mouth tilted up, revealing one long, white fang. The blood left my head, and I actually placed my hand on Nyx's chest to keep myself from toppling over. God, my big brother really was a vampire. He definitely wasn't sporting any plastic fangs in that mouth of his.
"You shouldn't have left Laedan with me. You know a newly made, unfed vampire running on adrenaline is more powerful than a werewolf. Even one with fighting skills like his."
Nyx's eyes narrowed. "You didn't kill him, did you?"
"No, just had a little drink."
"You're not looking more powerful than Laedan," I said. My poor brother's face was a pale green, his eyes unfocused, as if he were knocking on Death's door.
Nyx glanced at me and placed his hand over mine on his chest. His frown of concern scrunched his forehead. "He's still changing."
Jason screamed and doubled over. I tried to jerk myself out of Nyx's grip, but he held firm, and the urge to move vanished as I watched my brother, horrified.
Nyx flinched. "This will be the last night he'll be in pain. Until then, he should really go lie down while I deal with you."
"I won't rest while you're trying to kill my sister, asshole," Jason gasped from the floor.
"I'm not going to kill her." He ran his fingers gently through my hair. A lover's caress.
"Pagan, get away from him." When I didn't move, he glared at Nyx. "What are you doing to her?"
"Touching enhances my hold over her." He released his grip on my arm and slid his hands up to my shoulders to pull me to him and kiss my throat. I jerked out of his embrace, unable to think. I had to get some distance from him.
My head ached, and my mouth was as dry as the desert. I drew my knife and backed away from him. "Let go of my mind, damn it!"
"Put that knife down." The order came through so clearly I couldn't tell if Nyx had spoken aloud or if it was all in my head.
Pain detonated behind my eyes. It was so ferocious I almost passed out. My hand shook so badly that I almost dropped the blade.
"Come here, damn it! Stop fighting me."
Agony scattered my thoughts. I stumbled as the weight of his mind crashed into mine. The knife clattered to the ground. My knees cracked as they hit the floor, but I barely noticed the pain. No physical sensation compared to what was going on in my head.
His commands bombarded me. I wanted to beg him to stop, to tell him I'd do whatever he wanted, but my teeth were clenched together against the words, and I couldn't force them apart.
Suddenly, everything stopped. I came to my senses, lying huddled on the floor, drenched in sweat. My short nails had managed to dig into my palms. I uncurled my fingers. Blood oozed from the little crescents indented in my palms.
"Get up, Pagan, damn it! You need to run." My brother started pulling me roughly to my feet.
"What happened?"
"I jumped Nyx, but he won't be down for long."
I glanced around and noticed the demolished bar. Broken glass and wood lay strewn everywhere. The mirrors behind the bar were cracked and coated in blood.
My brother shoved me toward the door, and I almost fell. He grabbed my hand to steady me and froze. "You're bleeding." His grip tightened around my hand, and I flinched.
He dropped my hand and spun away so fast that I couldn't track the movement. "Run, Pagan. You'll end up dead if you don't."
"You have to come with me. I can't leave you here."
He looked over his shoulder for a split second, but he didn't turn around. "Don't you get it? You're bleeding. Even if you weren't, I'm not sure I could go with you. Adrenaline got me this far, but I'm stretching my control to the limit just standing this close to you. I've resisted feeding until now. It's why I'm in even more pain than normal."
Tears streaked down my face. "Jason, I can't leave you here. He'll kill you for this."
I grabbed his shoulder and spun him around. He hissed, baring razor sharp fangs. He knocked my hand away, covered his face, and backpedaled.
Tears completely obscured my vision. A sob tore through my body. "Jason, come with me! I can't... You keep me safe. It's my fault this happened to you. Please!"
He didn't take his hands off his face. "This isn't your fault."
The rubble that used to be the bar shifted before Nyx sat up.
He wiped the blood out of his eyes and pointed at Jason. "I'm going to kick your ass, boy."
Jason pushed me toward the door and took up a fighting stance in front of me. "Pagan, run! I'll find a way out, but right now you need to be somewhere safe."
I backed away, glancing around the bar. The Devil’s Trap’s patrons sat around watching the show, but none interfered.

When my gaze went back to Nyx, he was already up and heading toward me. He shoved my brother so hard Jason dented the wall. I turned and ran for dear life.

DASH Vol 2 by Shantel Tessier

Title: Dash Vol. 2
Author: Shantel Tessier
Genre: Adult, Romance
Release Date: December 30, 2014
I should have walked away that day at the race track. I should have turned my back on Dash and all the feelings I started to have for him. He lied to me. He was keeping secrets from not only my father but me as well. But I couldn’t. There were too many unanswered questions that I needed to know and he promised to tell me. But promises are made to be broken, right?

I lied. Not because I needed to but because I could. Tabatha was smart, though. She is gonna figure out sooner or later that who I am and who she thinks I am are two very different people. She deserves the truth. But how do I know what the truth is anymore?

My heart pounds in my chest and my body trembles. I gasp, trying to catch my breath.
“You sure know how to stroke a man’s ego,” Dash’s voice whispers into my ear as his hand slides between our bodies and his fingers find my clit. I gasp as he starts to massage it. He chuckles as he buries his face deeper into my neck.
I arch my back, allowing him better access as I suck in another breath. “You’re the one doing all the work,” I pant as his body lies on top of mine.
I feel him smile against my neck. I let out a shriek as he rolls over and pulls me on top of him. He looks up to me with a smirk on his face. A few strands of dark hair stick to his slick forehead. “You can have all the control you want, darling.” I’m momentarily paralyzed as his light gray eyes stare up into mine. The morning light coming in through the window makes them sparkle. The smirk grows across his face as he places his hands behind his head. Arrogant bastard. He knows what he does to me when he looks at me like that. Like I’m the only woman in the world. Like neither one of us have a past. Like we’re not hiding from the present. I don’t know what our future holds, but at the moment, it goes on forever.
I run my hands up his smooth and hard chest, the sweat from our bodies making it slippery. I want to taste him in every way. To the point that it may make me sound somewhat insane. Leaning down, I place my lips on his chest and give him a soft kiss. I continue giving him soft kisses as I slide my body down his.
He lifts his hips and he lets out a deep growl as I wrap my fingers around the base of his dick. I wet my lips and lower my mouth over him as his hands find their way into my hair. So much for being in charge. I don’t mind it, though. He can have all the control over me that he wants.
He lets out a moan as I pull him to the back of my throat. I let out a noise of my own when I taste myself on him. As I go to pull up, his hands in my hair grip me tighter and he lifts his hips, pushing deeper into my mouth. I try to fight the urge to pull back, to fight his control. He’s not Rodger, I tell myself.
“Fuck…Oh…” I run my eyes up his body lying on the white sheets. His stomach muscles clench and his chest rises and falls quickly. His head is thrown back, his jaw tight, as he sucks in breaths through clenched teeth. It’s a sight to see—me allowing him to take pleasure from me the way that he wants. I relax, allowing him to have his way with my mouth as I just allowed him to have my body.
I take him as deep and as fast as he wants to go. And he wants it fast. He doesn’t let up. My jaw is sore and my cheeks hurt but it’s worth it. Anything is worth hearing that man come with my name on his lips.
Once he’s finished, he releases my hair and I pull away from him with a satisfied smile on my face. He grabs me by the shoulders and throws me down beside him. “You’re amazing,” he breathes as he pushes some hair off of my face.
I take in a deep breath. “Not so bad yourself,” I tease.
His smile widens. “So much for stroking my ego,” he mumbles.
I arch an eyebrow. “I think I’ve stroked enough,” I respond, making him fill his bedroom with laughter.

I open my eyes and look at myself in the mirror. I have streaks running down my face from the tears I’ve cried in the last hour. It’s crazy how that memory was from just this morning. We were lying in his bed laughing as we were getting ready for round two. Now I’m standing in the restroom at the hospital waiting to see if he’s gonna be okay.
Dash crashed! It happened so fast that it didn’t register at first. He was riding along on the track after our talk. I had almost left him. I was so pissed at the fact that he was keeping some serious secrets from me. Hell, I thought that Valerie was telling the truth and that she was indeed his girlfriend. My father even believed her. Acted like he knew her. But after talking to him, I believed him. Then he jumped back on his bike and went to finish his practice run.

Title: Never Giving Up
Series: The Never #3
Author: Anie Michaels
Genre: Adult, Contemporary Romance
Release Date: December 29, 2014
Porter Masters wants nothing more than just to marry his love, Ella.

Ella Sinclair dreams of the day she can call Porter her husband and wants nothing more than to give him a family.

They have overcome many deep and dark obstacles and are finally ready to enjoy their “happily ever after.” The dream they share of marriage and a family, all hang in the balance as they encounter one more obstacle from their past that could ruin everything they have. With more on the line than ever before, Porter will stop at nothing to protect Ella – at all costs.

The past year fighting for their love can’t even compare to the fight they have ahead of them.

With their future happiness at risk, one thing remains true: they are never giving up.
I leaned into him, resting my forehead against his chest, soaking up every ounce of calm that being near him offered. “I’m finally strong enough to fight this on my own. I need you for so many things, Porter. I need you to love me, and make me laugh, and be a father to our child, and comfort me, and to build me beautiful houses, and to take me on picnics.” I looked up at him, using my eyes to beg him to trust me in this. “But tomorrow, I can fight that battle by myself. In fact, I need to. I want to. And I’m going to win.” He used one of his big, strong, callused hands to sweep my hair behind my ear, and then his gentle hand cupped the side of my face.
“I’m so proud of you,” he whispered, his words caressing my face, opening up my soul, and hiding inside my heart. He pulled me into him again and I smiled against his chest. I felt his hand drop to the small of my back while the other cradled my head against him. I breathed him in again, loving what his embrace could do to me. “I am so proud of you,” he repeated, even quieter and closer to my ear. Only I could hear him. I felt as if it were a gift he was giving me. His pride. There were a few things I knew in life to be true – undoubtedly, one-hundred-percent, absolute truths. I knew that Porter loved me. I knew that we were supposed to be together. I knew he supported me, wanted me, cherished me, and appreciated me. But to hear him say he was proud of me was fulfilling in a soul-lifting kind of way.
I took his praise and I felt it inside of me, lighting me up. But his sentiment only mirrored what I already felt inside.
I was proud of myself.

Anie Michaels started writing her first book in June of 2013 and since has managed to make it a full-time career. She spends her days in coffee shops imagining the lives of her fictional characters and then goes home to be a mother and wife; her other full-time career. Anie lives in Portland, Oregon, where some of her books are set, and wouldn't live anywhere else. When she isn't writing or taking care of her small children she spends her free time with her close friends and family. She loves beer and wine (a requirement went living in Oregon), and wishes she had more time for television because sometimes it's nice to look at attractive men instead of imagining them all the time.

5 Stars

Ella and Porter have been through so much and it's time for them to get their happily ever after. Except there is still one thing from the craziness of the past year left unsolved and until that is figured out Ella's fears are still there.

Marriage and being together are what they deserve after all they have been through and this is their story. They still have troubles and trials and I definitely recommend keeping tissues close by while reading.

Ella has been through so much, but she's stronger than ever and sure of herself and what she wants. And she's not afraid to let others know her opinions either.

Porter is still sweet and caring with a bit of overbearing alpha male thrown in. Watching him care for Ella throughout the series there's been more than one time I've swooned.

I loved seeing their story find it's true happy ending and am excited that some of the other characters will get their story told next!
