The night they meet Dominick disappears and Allegra thinks she will never see him again, but a week later he appears to her when she least expects it and she learns something about him that could change the way she feels about him forever. He is not human, he is vampire.

Dominick is different to the other vampires. He has no desire to live their lifestyle but they are a part of his life and they are not the kind that Allegra wishes to associate with but with the stunningly handsome, but terrifying Fabian as Dominick's sire and him also wanting Allegra for himself, can their relationship survive?

Will they end up driving them apart? Will Allegra be able to come to terms with what Dominick is and when something unexpected happens, that will change who she is forever, can their love survive?

With Allegra's discovery of her newly acquired 'abilities', will she survive those who are threatened by what she has become?

Dominick simply wants the woman he loves by his side for eternity but they have so much against them and with his sire determined to claim Allegra for himself, will it be enough to destroy their relationship?

This is book one of the Passion Series.

Book 2, Fabian's story is coming soon

From my teenage years, all I wanted to do was become a writer one day. Even now as an adult woman with a partner and three children who are not so little anymore, I've always lived with my head in the clouds, a dreamer, often amusing myself with my own imagination.

It might have taken me awhile to finally live my dream, but I did it, my first effort to try and join the many talented writers out there who have kept me entertained with their wonderful stories over the years.

I live in a sleepy country town in Tasmania, Australia with my partner and three children plus our 6 cats, dog, sheep and cattle.

I've had to overcome many emotional obstacles along the way to get to this point and attempting to self publish a book does tend to make a person feel like they've thrown themselves in at the deep end of the pool some what, but here's hoping some of you actually like what I write and save me from drowning in the deep end of the pool as I probably forgot to mention, I can't swim.

Our 4 Star Review

Allegra just wants to be left alone to write her books, but when her room mate and best friend Cassie drags her to a club her life will forever be changed. Dominick sees and smells the woman he knows will forever be his, he has to find a way to convince her they belong together and with his unique life it may be a harder sell than he first believes.  Can they overcome it all and be together in the end or will they be torn apart before their time?

The warning on this one is not one to be ignored. Seriously there is ALLOT of sex scenes throughout. This is not a book for younger audiences or the faint of heart. That being said those scenes were seriously HOT, like need a fan to cool down steamy. Beyond that though I wish there would have been more to the story, more to their backgrounds and more dialogue between the main characters like them getting to really know each other or something. There were times I just wished for more detail. Overall you get a sense of what's going on and it makes the story okay, but this is more hot sex than an in depth type of story.

Synopsis
If you're looking for a heartwarming story about a girl who falls deeply in love with a troubled boy who changes her life--a sob story with pretty metaphors and a million ways that'll tell you how "broken" she is, STOP. Don't read another word of this.
I'm not that type of girl.
My name is Emerald Anderson and I'm not going to bullshit you: I flunked out of college after my sophomore year, I've been fired from every job I've ever taken, and I've never had a fully functioning relationship in my life.
I wish I could say that I had a cheerleader in my corner, someone who says, "No, Emerald--You're great and you are good at something!" but I don't. My grandparents are completely oblivious to my life, and my mother's dying words to me were "You're going to end up just like me one day. A beautiful nothing."
She was right.
As I decide to start my life over and take two jobs that will forever change me--one from the inside, and one from the outside, I keep my mother's words close to my heart so I can keep the sexy and mysterious Carter Black away.
He's the first man who's ever pursued me, the first man who seems bent on finding out why I am the way I am, but he's wasting his time.
I'm not broken. I don't need to be fixed. I'm perfectly fine being a beautiful failure...

My mother was a whore. Her name was Leah Isabelle Anderson—“Leah Belle” for short, and she was one of New Jersey’s most sought after escorts. With deep green eyes that could take any man’s breath away, and skin so porcelain and smooth that it looked too perfect to touch, she was breathtakingly beautiful. Often compared to a supermodel, her raven black hair fell past her shoulders, and her naturally long eyelashes were always coifed to perfection.  Growing up, I had no idea what she did with the men who picked her up in their shiny and expensive cars—the men who wore thousand dollar suits and patted me on the head while saying, “Your mom is really something special.” In a way, these strangers became the closest thing I had to a family since I never knew my father: Her regulars, Christian and William, sent me gifts every Christmas. Arnie bought me my first bike, Steve taught me how to change a tire, and her most ruthless suitor—Vincent, took me shopping for designer clothes once a month. Leah Belle—she never ever let me call her “mom,” wasn’t exactly a mother to me; she was more like an older friend. An older ‘I’ll-be-there-when-it’s-convenient’ friend. She missed every elementary school play, every middle school writing competition, and never gave a damn about my grades. At first, the involuntary loneliness bothered me, but after I created an army of invisible friends and easily accessible fantasies, I came to terms with her neglect and happily accepted any attention she was willing to give me. When I became a teenager, she started to hang around me more often—promising that she would do better, promising that she would make sure that “from here on out, [we’d] be best friends.” Since she’d run away from her parents after having me at sixteen, she made a point to never lecture or discipline me. She did however, teach me three very important lessons: 1.) “Always put tons of effort into the way you look. You need to be beautiful on the outside, no matter how fucked up you are on the inside. If you ever feel sad or depressed, suck that shit up and add more mascara.” 2.) “Don’t make friends. Make sponsors. If you can’t get anything out of someone or use them for a specific purpose, kick that person out of your life ASAP.” 3.) “Beauty wins over brains every time. Your body will always be your most important asset. Remember that.” For my fourteenth birthday, she poured me my first shot and offered me a short line of coke, saying, “Welcome to life, Em!” I shook my head at the coke—I’d read about the effects, but I happily took the red shot glass from her hand.  “To the best fuckin’ daughter in the world!” She lifted her glass in the air, waiting for me to do the same, and then she ordered me to toss it back. The initial burning sensation was painful—disgusting, but in the years to come, that bitterness tasted better and better, and I looked forward to the two of us drinking together. It was the only time that she gave me her undivided attention. In those moments, I would tell her about another writing competition I’d won or how I’d received more early college scholarships. When it was her turn, she would tell me about “turning tricks” like other parents told their kids about a day at the office. “I can’t tell you how weak Ben’s dick was today,” she’d say. “I mean, I feel like I should be charging him double for the weak ass fucks he puts me through.” “You don’t enjoy it with him? Ever?” I’d ask. “No. Never with him. But he’s a sponsor, I’m getting his money, and that’s all that matters. I just lie there, scratch his back, and say ‘HarderHarder’ to make him think I’m into it until—” “Until he cums?” “Yep.” She’d pass me a cigarette before sighing. “With him and a few others, I usually have to take a few shots beforehand to numb my mind. With the really good ones, all I have to do is relax. Sex can be fucking incredible when it’s done right…” One particular Friday, after she let one of her regulars take me shopping for a Chanel bag, I unlocked the door to our home and saw droplets of blood all over the floor. “Leah?” I set my shopping bag down. “Did you get another nose bleed?” No answer. I headed into the kitchen, looking for her usual remedies—hot tea and Q tips, but she wasn’t there. “You here?” I walked around our living room and checked all the rooms upstairs. Confused, I pulled out my cell phone and called her. No answer again. I shrugged and opened a bottle of vodka, tossing back a few shots. I figured she’d left with one of her sponsors for a quickie and would be back by the time our favorite show started. I decided to take a shower before it came on and headed into the downstairs bathroom. The second I hit the lights, my heart fell out of my chest. I wanted to believe that what I was seeing was simply a sick joke by my imagination—a twisted fantasy I’d snap out of in seconds. Pale and blue, Leah’s body lay lifeless in our tub. Her left arm was dangling over the edge, and the small velvet bag where she kept her cocaine was dangling from her fingertips. Scattered across the floor were hundreds of prescription pills and empty orange bottles that bore the names of strangers. On the vanity, there was an empty syringe and a folded note that read “For my Em…” Trembling, I rushed to her side and pressed my finger against her neck, hoping for a pulse. Nothing. I tilted her head back and tried to breathe life into her—pressing her chest with my hands every few seconds, but it was no use. She was gone. I sank down to the floor in tears—cursing her, hating her, for doing this to me. To us. I had no friends to call, no family either, so in my numb and dazed state I somehow managed to call 9-1-1. While the operator attempted to calm me down by asking me to take deep breaths, I walked over to the vanity and unfolded Leah’s last note:
Em,
I know you’re confused right now, but I want you to know that I love you. I love you so fucking much… You were the only thing that made my life worth living, and I wish I was strong enough to keep that in mind…
I’m not.
I’m tired of living a lie and I haven’t been happy in a very long time… I just can’t take it anymore…
I’ve fucked up a lot of things in my life, but the biggest regret I have is the way I raised you…I’m so sorry… This is going to be hard for you to believe—especially since I’m gone, but I need you to forget all that shit I taught you. Right now.
Fuck using your looks to get what you want. Go to college and do some good shit with your life, like write or something. You’re a good writer, you’re very smart, and you need to use your brain to get ahead. Can you promise to do that for me, Em?
Then again…It’s probably too late and I’m willing to bet that you’ll end up just like me: A beautiful nothing…
It won’t be your fault though. It’ll be—
I stopped reading and flushed that note down the toilet. Her last words were clearly written out of sadness and they were only compounding my pain.  As far as I was concerned, Leah had raised me the best she could and she was far from a “beautiful nothing” in my eyes. In fact, I cherished every single thing she’d taught me. Even though I was beyond hurt that she’d selfishly left me all alone, I was determined to remember her at her best and for everything she was to me: My mother. My best friend. My role model.

Gryphon Series by Stacey Rourke

The Conduit The Conduit (Gryphon, #1)
Author Stacey Rourke

Amazon

Synopsis

All 18-year-old Celeste Garrett wants is to head off to college and make those fun, yet ill-advised, choices college kids are known for. And maybe to spend some time with the hot cameraman she just met. Instead, because of a pact her ancestors made in the 17th century with a mythical creature, she has to save the world.

While normal kids are slamming energy drinks and cramming for exams, Celeste will get her adrenaline rush fighting a fire breathing dragon. She wants to meet friends in the quad to exchange lecture notes, but first she must exchange blows with a shapeshifting demon on the rooftop. Life isn’t always fair for a superhero, but at least she doesn’t have to do it alone. With her brother and sister as sidekicks, they alternate between saving lives and getting on each others’ nerves. Together the trio encounters unspeakable odds, mystical forces and comes face-to-face with an image that will haunt them forever—their grandmother in a leopard print bikini.

Okay, little side note here. If a psychopathic killer asks if you want to see a trick, say no. That’s the smart thing to do. I, on the other hand responded with "Bring It" THE CONDUIT

4.5 Stars
Celeste and her siblings have just moved in with their grandma in Tennessee, now strange things are happening and they are about to get stranger. After pricking her finger on a Gryphon Statue they begin getting abilities and find out about their destiny to save the world. Finding out what they are meant to do is just the beginning figuring out how to do it is a whole other story.

Celeste is trying to understand who she is and her new role, but while doing that she doesn't allow anyone to tell her what to do even when it gets her into trouble. And between her and her siblings they are trying to save the world and not go insane in the process.

I enjoyed the world created with interesting characters and a great plot line. And then there's the FUNNY parts and I'm not just talking hahaha I'm talking rolling on the floor laughing so hard you're in danger of peeing your pants, kinda laughing. When things are looking at their worst for our hero's they don't get scared they get candid throwing out lines to make you laugh left and right. Loved this book excited to see where this series

She knew having a "normal life" would be tricky, between intense training sessions and epic demonic battles, but she didn't know at what cost it would come. That is, until a dear friend is harmed by the malicious forces hunting her. Now, she'd like nothing more than to retreat into a hermit lifestyle to prevent anyone else from getting hurt. But startling revelations, amazing new abilities, and mortifying moments in front of insanely hot guys won't allow time for that. Soon, Celeste finds herself surrounded by darkness and wondering who she can trust-if anyone.

Our 4 Star Review

Celeste is trying to live a normal life because being the chosen one....well it sucks. But while her siblings, Kendall and Gage, are settling into their new lives Celeste is trying her hardest to adopt the hermit lifestyle. Too bad for her everyone in her life is trying to "help" break her outta her shell, and part of that is getting her to date again. Because after the Alec fiasco she has no desire to get involved with anyone else, but sometimes life has ways of throwing someone special your way even when you least expect it. But with new people comes new danger, who can she trust and who will betray her when she least expects it?

Had fun learning more about the story and seeing where things could go. Definitely fell in love with Caleb and his sexy Irish brogue. Rowan and his pirate swagger were fun to watch too. Seeing everyone interact and try to do what is right while having fun and cutting more world class jokes makes this an awesome addition to the series.

Synopsis

Celeste Garrett has finally found a happy balance in her life as the Chosen One, thanks in large part to a certain hunky Irishman. But if there’s any lesson she should heed since receiving her calling it’s that everything can change in the blink of an eye. Soon a terrible new threat, unlike anything she’s ever encountered, causes her to make a gut-wrenching choice that will strip her of someone she holds dear.

As much as she’d like to have a pity party for one, there’s no time for that now because wedding bells are ringing in Gainesboro! In between dress fittings and rehearsal dinners Celeste will have to fend off attacking demons and leering pirates. As if the Dark Army wasn’t scary enough our heroine is faced with the horrifying trauma of attending a bachelorette party with her mom and watching Grams do Jello shots. Is a walk down the aisle even possible for a member of the Garrett family when the Dark Army is out to destroy them? More importantly, will the Dark Army Glee Club sing at the reception?

Raise your glass to the happy couple, and get ready for a wedding…Conduit-style.

Rating 4 Stars
Celeste is finally happy with how things are going in her life as the conduit, of course that has allot to do with a certain hottie who is now her boyfriend. But just when things are finally going right everything goes wrong and she is left with a choice that could break her. But there's no time to break down, when there's a new threat and everything that can go wrong does go wrong. Including times that should be happy like a wedding (yay for Gabe)

More fun times in this one. Loved seeing Celeste get a taste of happiness and Caleb is so perfect for her he keeps her balanced and made her see that there was a way to have your destiny and happiness at the same time. Seeing Rowan in his good and bad lights you get to see more of who he is and what motivates him. Having fun seeing everyone grown and of course more fun times like batchelorette parties with an unexpected stripper!! ;)

(Kelsey's POV)
A smile smothers my lips as I spot Roy standing in front of some fancy restaurant. He’s dressed in all black (as usual), but his hair is wavy, proving he most likely took a shower before reaching his destination. He’s looking around, and there are moments when he checks his phone. My smile continues as I start to walk toward him, but in no time, my smile evaporates. A girl rushes up to him, and I stop in my tracks, staring like a deer stuck in headlights. I’m… confused. The girl stands on her toes and wraps her arms around his neck, and somehow, a part of me shrivels away. I swallow to block the dryness in my throat. I can feel my bottom lip trembling… my palms getting sweaty. I don’t even realize I’ve dropped the bag in my hand or the cup holder containing the coffee until I’m storming towards him. My eyebrows are furrowed, fists clenched tight around my keys. The sharp metal of my keys is digging into my hand, but I don’t even realize it. I can’t seem to focus on anything but my boyfriend walking into some restaurant with this blonde beauty.

The FireNine Series has really been one of my favorite. I enjoyed the first two books very much and I enjoyed Sykes Story as well.
He has always been the quiet stand off guy in the band. The one everyone wanted to know about but most people were just always to afraid to ask.
In 'Who I Am' we find out just that...
Now we get to learn more of Roy Sykes story. We hear about his past heartache and why he became the guy everyone found mysterious. His story pulls at your heart as you find out all the hardships he had to endure throughout his life...but he found his light in Kelsey and their story is one you don't want to miss. It is sweet and even though it has a few snags along the way it still makes you smile and even at times swoon, okay yeah and feel slightly overheated at times.
Check out the FireNine Series you won't be sorry.

Chelsea Camaron was born and raised in Coastal North Carolina. She currently resides in Southern Louisiana with her husband and two children but her heart is always Carolina day dreaming.

Chelsea always wanted to be a writer, but like most of us, let fear of the unknown grab a hold of her dream; she realized that if she was going to tell her daughter to go for her dreams, that it was time to follow her own advice.

Chelsea grew up turning wrenches alongside her father, and from that grew her love for old muscle cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles, which just so happened to inspired her ‘Daddy’s Girls’ series. Her love for reading has sparked a new love for writing and she currently has a few more projects in the works.

When she is not spending her days writing you can find her playing with her kids, attending car shows, going on motorcycle rides on the back of her husband’s Harley, snuggling down with her new favorite book or watching any movie that Vin Diesel might happen to be in.

She hates being serious and is still a big kid at heart. She is a small town country girl enjoying life and, Chelsea hopes that her readers remember not to take life too seriously and to embrace your inner five year old, because five year olds know how to enjoy the simple things in life and how to always have fun.

*Warning mature content ahead- this scene is explicit so only post if your blog is set for adult content please*

A few beers later, Tank and I are playing pool in the back corner room. Three women come over to our game. For a bit they watch and giggle to each other. One is a bottle blonde, short only five foot, one or two. She’s wearing a black mini skirt that barely covers her ass, a navy blue halter top that her boobs are screaming to be let loose from, topped off with those fuck me heels that women love to wear and men love to feel digging into their backsides. The other two have dark hair, one is taller, maybe five eight or nine, the shorter one closer to the blonde’s height. The taller broad, is in a little black strapless number that she clearly doesn’t realize one ass cheek is already hanging out of. The shorter one, obviously more reserved than the other two, is in jeans and a fitted shirt. She walks away, returning to wherever they came from.

The blonde approaches me, with a smile that says seduction. She licks her lips as she trails her finger over my cut. Stopping, she breathes into my ear.

“I have a pocket you can sink into, biker.” She whispers.

“Is that so?” I reply, looking over at Tank. Her taller friend has now approached him and is mauling his face in what I believe to be extremely drunk kisses. I watch as Tank wraps his hand in her hair. Tightly, he pulls back on her, to slow her pace. He’s taking control, and soon going to take what he wants. Returning my attention back to the bar fly beside me, I move so she’s pinned between me and the pool table.

Taking the hint, she pulls me up against her. I lean down, she thinks I’m going to kiss her, but instead I whisper, as I breathe heavily on her neck.

“Darlin’, are you sure? Be ready, I’m going to fuck you hard, fast, and rough. Right here, in front of your friend, my brother, and whoever decides to walk in. Once I start, I’m not going to stop. Say no now, and walk the fuck away. Otherwise, take your panties off and stick them in my pocket. Then turn around and bend your ass over the pool table bitch.”

Without hesitating, her panties are now in my pocket. Pulling her skirt over her waist, her bare ass is now shaking in front of me. Getting a condom out, I unbutton my jeans and stroke my dick. As I’m getting hard, I look over to see Tank is already working his girl over. Her legs are wrapped around his waist, arms around his neck, and her head back as she’s moaning in ecstasy. Damn, they were quick to get to it.

Reaching around her front with my right hand, I slide up her thigh. At her juncture, I slowly tease her pussy lips with my fingers. Spreading them apart, I circle her clit as she rocks back on to me, seeking more. I increase the pressure and the pace on her clit. My dick is hard and pressing against her ass. She looks over her shoulder, down at my dick. Seeing the silver jewelry at the tip, she smiles.

“Fuck me, biker. Take that big, pierced cock and fuck my ass.”

If that’s what the hell the slut wants, who the hell am I to say no? The bitch wants it rough, fine. She’ll feel this shit for days. I push her head down onto the pool table. Removing my hand from her clit, I roll the condom on. I kick her legs further apart. Taking a few moments to finger her pussy, I use her own juices to start inserting my finger in her ass. Once she adjusts to the first finger, I add a second. With my other hand, I’m rubbing the head of my penis against her clit, letting the piercing apply that added sensation. She’s now rocking back rhythmically on three fingers. I remove my fingers and slowly insert the tip of my cock. I give her body a moment to adjust to my girth, as I inch in further. She’s tiny and there is no way I’ll be balls deep without hurting her. Her ass is tight and the lube from the condom isn’t enough. Once I’m inside her a good bit, I reach around with my left hand and massage her breast at the same time I begin rubbing circles on her clit. I tease the entrance to her pussy with my fingers. As I do, she rocks back engulfing my dick in her ass. It’s warm, soft, and so tight. I insert two fingers inside her pussy as I pinch her nipple. She rocks against me as I begin pumping both my dick and my fingers in and out of her. She’s clinching around me as her orgasm is building.

“Oh, oh, oh…yes…I’m coming.” She screams out so loud Tank and his play thing stop fucking to turn and watch us.

As she’s going through the aftershocks of her orgasm, she starts to raise her head up. I push it back down, as remove my hand from her pussy and my dick from her ass.

“I’m not finished yet. Bitch, stay put.” I say as I hold her down onto the pool table.

Fast and hard, I thrust my dick in her pussy now. I set a quick, intense pace, ready to get off and move on. Within a few hard thrusts, I allow my mind a moment of wondering, imagining the face of a doll, I come in the condom. Finishing, I pull out. Removing the condom, I tie off the top, and toss it in the trash can in the room. Adjusting myself, I zip up my pants. Looking over, I see Tank is finished as well. His girl already sporting a pouty face as mine is still bent over the pool table like she doesn’t know what just happened.

Deciding I am done for the night, I grab my beer, nod to Tank that it’s time to go. He follows me out of the room, leaving the two bar flies behind. They both call out to us. Rather than turn around and acknowledge them, I flip my middle finger over my head at them as we make our way by the bar towards the exit door.

Our 4 Star Review

Doll is the princess of the Hellions MC and with her dad being the prez no one is willing to upset him by getting involved with Doll. When she meets Tripp she feels something different for him than she ever has before, but he's not willing to risk things by pursuing her. When a threat comes in on Doll her father sends her on a cross country ride with none other than Tripp.  As the days blend together and they become closer can they find what they really want in each other or will their affair end with the ride?

My oh my I loved me some Doll and her BFF Sassy phew those two were a magnificent duo having fun and causing trouble. I loved their closeness and how they just knew each other so well they barely had to speak their minds. And when it came to Tripp if Doll didn't say what was on her mind Sas was more than happy to do it and give you some great laugh out loud moments at the same time!! Tripp might have been a man of few words but he always meant what he said so you knew to pay attention. Even though I would've loved to see him become more of a romantic he stayed true to who he was even through the end.

I'm excited to read more of this crew in the future. This one was a great MC read.
