Sulwen learned the hard way that she has to take everything happening seriously. Now she is hardened and determined to do whatever it takes to protect her world from the danger most people don't even know about.

Logan almost died and its taken him time to heal, when he finally gets back to the mansion he realizes things are not quite to same and Sulwen is different from who she once was. Can he accept her as she is now and help her fight her demons?

With the time fast approaching Sulwen has to learn not only to control her powers, but she has to also figure out who to trust. Things are never quite what they seem and with things having changed to much for her it's hard for her to keep up sometimes, but she does the best she can with what she's given.

Logan has secrets piling up on top of secrets and he still hasn't learned his lesson about that blowing up in his face. He is such a sweetie wanting to take care of his girl, but sometimes I just wanted to strangle him to help him realize he needed to always be up front and honest.

Sulwen has grown up allot and doesn't take anything for granted anymore. She has become quite the bad ass when it comes to fighting and it was great to see her come into her own.

The story not only continues, but evolves to show you more of this world and the different things that there are in it and going on there. There is also allot more steamy content than the previous book so be sure to keep a fan close by to cool down!

Isaac's POV

“Who is Sadina?” Cecily asked again.

“She is no one we need to be messin’ with,” Ezrah said as he gathered the dried bullets putting them into a clip belonging to his .40 cal. 

“Sadina is a witch, one of the strongest alive as a matter of fact,” Julian said walking around the side of the house, “She put a curse on a pack of shifters all because her wee lil heart was broken, Lucas said she may have something to do with all of this. Little tidbit of info, she is also the creator of the Dyphillum clan, which kind of makes her untouchable.”

“Why would she be untouchable?” Cecily asked as she sat down next to Ezrah.

“All the power that we have from our witch side was given to us by Sadina, it was passed down by genetics and becomes stronger as more Dyphillum are born but will never be enough to take her on head to head,” I said as I walked over to the both of them. Julian hung back by the house, close enough to be part of the conversation but far enough to keep his eyes on the woods that surrounded us. 

“So she is kind of like the mother of the clan?” Cecily cocked her head to the side looking confused.

“Your parents never told you about her?” Julian asked with one eyebrow raised in surprise.

“No, haven’t heard of her till today, what does she have to do with the possession of the elders?” She was looking at the ground, I could feel she was embarrassed that she didn’t know any of this.

“She is someone you don’t want to piss off and somehow the Dyphillum have done just that, this is what we need to figure out, Jules, does Lucas have more answers?” I asked taking Cecily’s hand and gently rubbing my thumb over her knuckles, just then I heard some branches crack and by the way everyone’s heads turned, so did they.

Author Elizabeth Montgomery was born in Williamsburg, Virginia and raised a hop, skip, and a jump away in Yorktown, Virginia. Paranormal inspiration was easily obtained during her childhood in these colorful towns. This helped to spur her love of Paranormal romance stories, but she also enjoys reading YA and NA. 

She is currently raising four children and a husband while elbow-deep in the depths of the writing cave. Nivian jumped over the edge of the bridge, landing with a soft tap on the surface of the water. She reached down, pulled the soul of the driver up by the collar of his shirt, and stood him up next to her on top of the water. She took the drivers hand palm up in hers, waving her other hand over his. She pinched the air and pulled, lifting up and exposing his life string, his wide eyes were hypnotized by the glowing string. She grabbed the scythe strapped to her back and swung. With a slow deliberate movement she sliced the human’s thread. The light formed a ball and hovered as she pulled out the small pocket watch. The life light floated down to the watch and sunk into it, disappearing. With a snap, she closed the watch and returned it to her pocket.

“You really shouldn’t drink and drive; you could have seriously hurt someone,” she said giving him an apathetic look. He gaped at her, mouth opening and closing like a fish. “Yes, you really are dead.” She confirmed as she started to turn away.

“Are you … the devil?” he managed to sputter.

“No, of course not. I am just the natural order of things,” she said, briefly looking back at him. “Wait here; your spirit counselor will be here soon for you to guide you to your afterlife. I have other jobs tonight,” She turned, walking away as she pulled her hood back up over her head and vanished.
