Stefan became a bit of a man-whore after a woman broke his heart more than 100 years ago, he didn't think he would ever want a mate until he started dreaming about HER. Hes been trying to figure out who she is for more than a year with no success, until his meddling mother steps in.
El was left debilitated after a certain event in college. She doesn't date and won't even look at men, except Stefan, and he's a man she'll never let get close.
When he finds out El is his mate how much will it take to convince her he only wants her. Or will both their pasts keep them from ever really being together?
El is strong and confident in every aspect of her life except when it comes to romance. When it comes to her ranch and her vet practice she is self assured.
Stefan is a hurt man hiding behind a playboy persona. And that playboy aspect comes back to bite him in the butt when it comes to finally finding his mate. He's sweet and caring when it comes to his family and his mate, but after the life he has lived recently convincing his mate of that may take more than he realizes.
These two have their share of problems and figuring them out will take not only them but the help of their famlies too. We see their journey to finding each other and all the obsticles they have to go through to find happiness. I loved going along with them as they figured it all out!
