Kiss from a Rose by Michel Prince

Kiss from a Rose (A Red Hot Valentine Story)
Synopsis

Jenna Turner wasn’t looking for anything but a quick bite to eat when she met the sexy peace officer Marcus Peterson. While Jenna has always been singularly focused on her next big promotion at work, suddenly she’s distracted by alluring texts from Marcus.

His evocative words and her naughty responses invoke emotions neither seem ready for, and luckily, neither have room in their busy lives to follow through on all their sexting.

Can two career driven people find the time to take their relationship to the next level? Or will careers and the pressure to achieve goals cause the end to a budding love?

Our 4.5 Star Review

When a case of mistaken identity actually goes in your favor. Jenna is eating her lunch when officer Marcus comes up to her and says Kole set them up for a date. While her brother doesn't answer she decides to give the sexy cop a chance, until another Jenna comes up and interrupts. Rushing back to her office doesn't work out all the well when a man comes after you.

Jenna number two is hot she but she's not the one that captured his interest, and Marces isn't gonna let her get away. After a week of flirty texts and evening chats they see each other again, but not on the date they were planning.

When Marcus is injured Jenna has to decide if he's worth it and even if he is can he accept all of her?

I thought the mistaken identity bit was freaking hillarious and add in Marcus's partner and you had a ball full of laughs. The romance of the story is short and sweet and STEAMY. I enjoy reading a woman who knows who she is and isn't afraid to show it and Jenna fit that bill to a T. Nice Valentines read or anytime read for that matter.
