Ok so let just cut to it aliens and sex. For many of us this still feels like a taboo type of read, we're all used to shifters and vampires and other types of creatures, but when it comes to aliens you give it a big fat NO THANK YOU. Well I'm here to tell you this one made for a great read, despite what even I still think of as a no no read. Many types to books in this sub genre are written awkward and make you feel uncomfortable, but in this one the "aliens" aren't quite so alien and this story itself is actually quite interesting.
Olivia has been having strange dreams for six months and now she's been drafted. Not for the military but as a bride for the alien species that saved Earth. Baird was captured and tortured and through it all the only thing that kept him sane was his dreams of Her. Now finally back where he belongs he's ready to claim what the universe says is his. But he's gotten himself a stubborn woman and it'll take all the patience his particular type of warrior isn't known for to show her just how good they could be together and that they really are meant to be. She wants to go home, he wants her who will win this battle of wills.
Olivia is stubborn definitely one of the most stubborn heroines I've ever read about. She got a good heart and a strong since of family, and when she wants something she'll do anything to get it. Baird is her perfect match, even when she doesn't see it he's just right for her and knows what she needs. He went through something horrible but came out of it and now wants his piece of happiness and he'll do whatever it takes to get it.
The story keeps you interested and shows you an interesting world that the author created. This is a great start to a series and I'm definitely interested to see more of the characters and their stories.

Sophia doesn't want to have feelings for a giant alien who likes to bite during sex, she's terrified of alpha male types and she hates needles and fangs are allot like needles. But the universe has a way of knowing exactly what someone needs, but can she overcome her fears?
Sylvan made a vow to never take a bride, and the pain from long ago keeps him from wavering. But the beautiful female with the sad eyes pushes him to his limits, and when the evil scourge come after her his vows will be put to the test in order to protect her.
Sophia has allot of fear in her at times it was almost too much, but watching her journey toward healing you see just how much she needed someone to take care of her.
Sylvan is a big old teddy bear, although he looks like a grizzly most of the time. He has allot more feelings running through him than he wants to admit, but I loved seeing that side of him.
They both have pain from their pasts, but you can tell right away that if they can both get past it you can see they'll both have they happiness they deserve.
The story of Liv and Baird also continues as well as the the beginnings of Kat and her story. And the story of the Scourge and what they are after continues in this one as well. Old and new I loved seeing it all come together in the second book of this series.

Kat had absolutely no desire to go to the Twin Moons home world, but when you're in a kind of coma and it' up to others to help you, you don't get a say in what happens. And what happens while she I unconscious is a whole lot of crazy, once she wakes up things go from one type of insane to another, to another, to another on and thing things keep happening until she can hardly keep up!
Locks Tight just wants the love and happiness he knows he can get with having a mate and Kat is the perfect woman if only she and his brother could see how happy they could truly be together. As the light twin his caring and easy going nature help him in most things, but With his brother and their intended he'll have to do everything he can to convince them.
Stabs Deep will not allow his nature to get him into another relationship that could be harmful for his bride again. He harbors a pain from his past that runs deep, and nothing will stand in his way of keeping Kat from becoming too close to him. He'll do anything it takes to send her on her way, even if his feeling for her grow stronger every day.
The three travel across the galaxy in an attempt to find out what is wrong with Kat and then find a way to sever their bond. They each had different intentions for their journey but no matter how much they try to deny it they will always be stronger together but their denial could end up killing them all.
The All Father is also closer to finding to one he's been looking for, and Olivia and Sophie find the aunt and cousin they thought dead have been alive and well all along, but now the evil Scourge could ruin their chance at a relationship before they ever got a chance to have one.

Xairn knows he is not like his evil father, and now he's on the run with the beautiful Lauren. He wants her but there's no way she could ever want him and with the evils encoded in his DNA he could never risk it.
Lauren went through hell being the All Fathers prisoner should have left her scared but instead it left her stronger than ever and with a man she cares for even though others would think she's crazy for loving him. They set on a mission to change their DNA so Xairn's father can no longer find them, and along the way she also tries to find a way to show him her feelings.
She may be scared of parts of him but she knows he would never hurt her like he thinks he would, and she's set on showing him that they can be together.
Xairn is stubborn, but his feeling for Lauren are real and true and you can see they are truly what the other needs.
The battle with the All Father comes to a head in this one and it takes all hands on deck to keep each other safe and alive. Those who didn't have a family find themselves surrounded by people who care and this family will do anything for each other.
We also Nadiah now that she's of age and managed to escape from her parents and we see an unlikely relationship in the works that I can't wait to see how it turns out in the next book!
