Cheryllynn's vivid imagination comes through in all she does in life. Her writing started in junior high and although she never truly shared her work until recently she kept them hidden away in an old tattered orange folder. Original works she wrote from 1984 still holding ink on the pages are now being shared. Science Fiction and Fantasy are her favorite genres with mystery and thrillers in close running.
Born in Northwest Florida and raised in Southeast Georgia she gained a love for nature and the outdoors. After almost twenty years in the healthcare industry and obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration/Healthcare Information Systems she has returned to her love of writing. Currently living in Central Texas with two of her four children, she has begun a new chapter in life that has opened her heart and soul to many great adventures. Her dreams are to one day return to her native homes and settle in for life with her kids and all her family and to continue writing.
Elizabeth has gone through all of changes lately with her mother dying and moving in with her Aunts while working to finish high school. But suddenly everything changes when she finds out she is a witch, she's powerful, and now has not one but two guys vying for her love. One, a witch, claims to be her mate and the other she feels a connection with even though he is an elf.
Elizabeth is strong and sure, she's not one to beat around the bush and doesn't appreciate when others do. She's straight forward and while she not scared of new things when she finds out about them she doesn't want to be kept in the dark.
The story draws you into her world as she works to learn about herself, her family, and her powers while also learning about those around her too and their views and beliefs. It is interesting to see things from her point of view as she tries to understand everything around her. Overall a good read and start to a new series and my only complaint was the pace. It was waaaaayyy fast and everything was important information and there was no in between times. Just Bam Bam Bam as everything happened one thing after another. And while I like a straight forward story I wanted to see more to it as a whole.
