✘ Meet the Author ✘

B N Toler lives in Virginia. When she's not reading and writing, she's thinking about reading and writing. Before she became a self-proclaimed writer, she worked as a real estate agent and as an orthodontic technician. **She will notice your teeth before your eyes or hair or anything.**

She enjoys shopping (way too much) and is on a first name basis with several employees at the local Target in her town.
She loves music,(bluegrass, country, 80's, actually she loves most music ~her favorite song is American Pie by Don McLean and she worships anything that is Elvis and Johnny Cash and Eric Church) dancing, (even though she sucks at it)reading, writing, eating (too much) sleeping late, (which she rarely gets to do) and laughing. If you can make her laugh, she will love you forever.
Random and insignificant facts:
She is addicted to Coca Cola
She hates onions
She loves thunderstorms
She wants to have Karen Marie Moning's babies
She curses....a lot...like way too much
She's immensely afraid of snakes
She fangirls over M.Pierce
She HATES reality television
She could eat her weight in Snickers candy bars
She loves books and movies that make her cry
She cries over anything remotely sad
She loves the Lord
She LOVES Jack Daniels and Ginger Ale. (too much)
She hopes she hasn't bored you to death.

➤➤The Suit

4.5 STARS

Edie lost her grandfather, the man that raised her after losing her mother at a younger age.

Dealing with the lost was has enough...but now The Suit just made it even harder.

The Suit-- Edie's nickname for the man that just lay out before her a plan she was unaware of. Her grandfather (Daddy Bud) had conditions...stipulations that must be fulfilled before Edie can inherit his land and all it's contents. The fact that the suit would be with her on the farm for three months just topped it with a big cherry or one big ugly thorn.

Johnny or the so called 'Suit' may not be who Edie thought he was. Daddy Bud helped him when he was in desperate need and in return an arrangement was made. One problem Johnny was finding it hard to keep his eyes of Edie.

This book was a very enjoyable read. I loved the characters and the relationships they developed. B.N. Toler knocked this one out of the park and now I am intrigued with this group and can't wait for the second installment. There was no cliff hanger but the story was left with the possibility of some great additions.

The book had it all, fun times, heated moments and even the drama needed to keep it going. All wrapped up in the perfect little story called 'The Suit'.

This is a must one click read and you won't be disappointed.

➤➤The Anchor

5 Stars
The word Anchor has more than one meaning, and in B.N. Toler's eyes we see what it means to Nikki and Parker...

Anchor: a person or thing that provides strength and support.

Nikki has trust issues, when it comes to men. She grew up without her mother around and her father was anything but supportive. Her father was judgmental and full blown arrogant ass. So when Parker shows interest in Nikki, she does what she does well, pushes him away.
But Parker is determined to show her that not all men are the same. He is not her father, and the road along the way is anything but smooth.
Nikki pushes and she pushes hard. She fights Parker every step of the way. At time he can barely hold it together, feeling frustrated and angered.

More than once he wonders if they'll make it, but he never gives up hope.

We get to revisit with Edie and John...( I love those two )
We meet a couple new characters and get to revisit the fun loving banter between Parker and John. Not to mention the great support system and STRONG love the girls share with Joey, the best friend for years.

I loved SUIT, and Anchor was a great addition to an amazing series.
I can't wait to read the next installment.

Once again YOU ROCKED IT!

➤➤Healer

4.5 Stars

Aldo and her brothers are triplets about to graduate from high school. For once in their young lives they were able to stay in one place for an actual length of time. Because their Aunt who raised them always told them if they stayed in one place too long "they" would find them. You see they have a secret Aldo and her family are healers. Able to feel the vibrations of a person a heal most people. But when a young girl is hit by a car and rather than be the one to heal her is used by another person to do the healing she finds there is more to her world than she ever knew. As she becomes closer to Thomas terrible things happen. What happens next is the story of her survival in circumstances she never thought possible. And only when she learns who she can really trust can she see the world for what it really is.

Aldo is young and maybe a bit naïve, but she's doing the best she can under the circumstances. Seeing her struggles as she tries to find her way makes you feel her pain and want to see her overcome all the hardships she has faced. Watching her grow up and learn her place in the world where everything is so confusing you root for her to find the happiness she has always wanted.

The beginning may seem a bit confusing but as you continue reading you understand more and more until you come to the shocking truths she learns near the end. Loved watching her journey and am definitely excited to see more of this story in the future.

Our 4.5 Star Review

Aldo is finally awake from her dream world and with Lucy's message she has to decide what to do. Lucy could have left her the information she needs to seek vengeance on those who abused her mother and killed Lucy, but going after the Vampires means leaving her brothers and Rhet behind. After everything he's done for her Aldo has fallen in love with Rhet, but he wants to keeps her safe and not using her abilities to help others keeping under the radar for the rest of their lives. She's not sure she can do it and when the time is right she leaves and finds a whole other life she didn't even know was possible for her to live. Learning secrets that had been kept from her and things she should've known all along who will she learn to trust in the end?

I loved seeing more of Aldo, she's young and makes mistakes, but she's strong and fierce. Watching her grow and learn more of who she is you see her Independence come out and she desire to avenge the innocent. Seeing old and new love interests and how she feels about them you root for your favorite and hope she picks the guy who's right for her in the end. Reading the story as it grows and takes new shape I had a blast with all the new twists and turns along the way. The characters that were introduced in this one added so much to the novel and helped you feel even more a part of this world created by Toler. There's something new with every turn of the page, I can't wait to see what happens next!

➤➤Savage

4.5 Stars

First off I wanna say if you've been reading this series as it comes out and haven't read books 1&2 in a while, there is an AWSOME prologue to help jog your memory!!! As a blogger I read so many books that they sometimes blend together and with series it's hard because I usually don't have time to go back and read the previous books so I rely on the synopsis and my own reviews of previous book to help remember what was going on, but that is not full proof. So yea prologue...AWESOME.

Aldo was kidnapped and wow who is with me on knowing Briggs was an evil a-hole? She's finally figured things out with Daniel and then BAM they are torn apart.

Daniel will do anything for his love, and her being taken has him on the edge of reason, he'll do what it takes to get her back no matter who it pisses off.

Captivity. She is not just taken, she's being tortured and she's going to a very dark place the longer she's there. Will Aldo be able to pull back from the darkness or will it consume her?

Daniel made a decision. He saved his woman and gave up the cover he'd been working on for decades, now he has to deal with the consequences. But none of that is half as bad a worrying about the one he loves and the crazy she's going through.

This was an action packed conclusion to this series. I loved seeing how it all came together in the end and enjoyed every bit of it!
