For me, life was simple. I went to school and studied. I spent time with my friends and stayed out of trouble. I didn't drink or swear and I only dated gentlemen. I was the typical good girl with a bright future. My world seemed perfect.
But that was about to change.

OUR REVIEW --- 5 Stars
Maddi and Ryder had been best friends since the day she and her father moved next door to his parents' farm. He was always the bad boy, take chances, live on a whim kinda guy. She spent years watching him go through girl after girl, party after party.
When the opportunity arises and they take that step, things will never be the same.
Now I will add there were plenty of times I wanted to punch his right where it counts. He made me so mad on more than one occasion and I was telling Maddi to walk away, a girl could only take so much.
Then all heck breaks loose, and when I say heck I mean a terrorist attack.
Maddi, Eva, Brody and Ryder set out to go back home, find safety and ride out the chaos that was erupting around them. During this their friendships are testing, their safety is compromised and the fear becomes real.
I was completely consumed by this story. Unlike the heated Romance I usually read I have to say I was pleased. So enthralled by the book that I refused to go to sleep until I finished. I had to know what happened. And then when I reached the end, I couldn't wait to move right on to book 2.
Beginning it immediately I finally passed out somewhere around mid point in the second installment.
Suspenseful / Intriguing / Heated / Frustrating / Addicting
A must read!
