AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT KINDLE ALEXANDER

Double Full (A Nice Guys Novel Book 1)
by Kindle Alexander

Up and coming football hero, Colton Michaels, makes a Hail Mary pass one night in the college locker room that results in the hottest, sexiest five days of his young life. However, interference after the play has him hiding his past and burying his future in the bottom of a bottle. While Colt seems to have it all, looks can be deceiving, especially when you’re trapped so far in a closet that you can’t see your way out. When ten years of living his expected fast-lane lifestyle lands him engaged to his manipulative Russian supermodel girlfriend, he decides it’s time to call a new play.

Jace Montgomery single-handily built the largest all-star cheerleading gym in the world, driven by a need to forget a life-altering encounter with a handsome quarterback a decade ago. His reputation as an excellent coach, hard-nosed business man, and savvy entrepreneur earned him respect in the sometimes catty world of competitive cheerleading. When Jace learns of his ex-lover’s plans to marry, his heart executes a barrel roll and his carefully-placed resolve tumbles down without a mat to absorb the shock. Can his island escape help him to finally let go of the past and move his life forward?

4.5 Stars

The Past
Colton finally made a move on the person who he's longed for, for four years. The problem? It's a guy and football players aren't gay, the prejudices are just too big for someone up and coming to come out of the closet. They share an amazing 5 days together hidden away in Hawaii, but when they come back things get complicated when the wrong person finds out. Things for this new couple go downhill in an instant.

The Present
Nearly 10 years have gone by and while things might look good for each guy on the outside, they are both miserable in the comfort of their own minds.
Colt hates his sorry excuse of a life, he stays drunk so the pain isn't too strong. He hates what he did to Jace all those years ago, but thought it was for the best. Now he's at a turning point where he has to decide if he'll remain under the thumbs of those he hates most, or if he's willing to take a chance on everything and go for his own happiness.

Jace has tried to move on with his life, he's created the best Cheer gym in the world and is at the top in his field for helping cheerleaders be the best. The one thing he never moved on from, the one thing he never told anyone about was Colt and their time together. He hates that he still loves him, but knows things won't change for him until the unexpected happens.

Colt is so far in the closet he'll do anything to keep his secrets, especially when is protects the one person he really loves. He found out who he was at a young age, but was too young to understand how to get out the influence of those around him. He did the best he could, but it was at his own expense and happiness. He's sweet and caring and willing to say what he feels when he's along with Jace. I loved seeing his journey into learning to accept who he is and let go of the fear of what consequences might happen if his lifestyle came out into the open.

Jace has never hidden who he is even for a second, his parents were amazing and accepting and it helped him to be ok in his own skin, even when under fire for his choices. He's not afraid of being out in the open, but is understanding of those who aren't. He's a mother hen and a worrier, but you love him for it because it shows you just how much he cares. He goes with the flow living in the happiness of the now even when he knows things might go south for him in the end.

Their story is one of learning to overcome your fear and accepting who you are even under the hardest of circumstances. I loved seeing their beginning and how they got through the years and eventually how they got their forever.

Loved this story and can't wait for more in this series, and what other characters will get their story told.

Full Disclosure (A Nice Guys Novel Book 2)
by Kindle Alexander et al.

Deputy United States Marshal Mitch Knox apprehends fugitives for a living. His calm, cool, collected attitude and devastatingly handsome good looks earn him a well-deserved bad boy reputation, both in the field and out. While away on an assignment, he blows off some steam at a notorious Dallas nightclub. Solving the case that has plagued him for months takes a sudden backseat to finding out all there is to know about the gorgeous, shy blond sitting alone at the bar.

Texas State Trooper Cody Turner is moving up the ranks, well on his way to his dream of being a Texas Ranger. While on a two-week mandatory vacation, he plans to relax and help out on his family’s farm. Mitch is the last distraction Cody needs, but the tatted up temptation that walks into the bar and steals his baseball cap is too hard to ignore.

As Mitch’s case gains nationwide attention, how will he convince the sexy state trooper that giving him a chance won’t jeopardize his life’s plan...especially when the evil he’s tracking brings the hate directly to his doorstep, threatening more than just their careers

5 Stars

We met Mitch in book one when his dad called him in to help with Colt and Jace. With the attack on Colt, Mitch found more cases that were similar but none of the higher ups wanted to put any time or money into it. While in Dallas he sees more of the relationship between Colt and Jace and while he doesn't have time for a relationship, he feels like something's missing.

Cody is on vacation when in comes the most gorgeous man he's ever seen. Someone he thinks is so far beyond him that he'll never have a chance, besides he doesn't do one night stands anyways. But when Mitch come up to him with his cocksure attitude all bets are off.

The sizzling attraction between them is off the charts, but the two have such different lives how will they ever get the time to get to know each other. As they both go into untested waters can they overcome their obstacles and find happiness together or will life tear them apart.

Mitch is cocky and arrogant, he knows what he wants and goes for it. He doesn't care about what other people think about him and lives his life the way he wants to and not for everyone else around. He says what he wants and does what he wants and I absolutely LOVED him.

Cody might be a bit gun shy, but when he says something he means it. He's sweet and caring, but don't let that fool you he's a total alpha male too. He's got his goals and goes after them with everything he's got.

I loved how these two didn't just meet within two chapters, fall in love, and ta da the end. There's a real story there and you see both characters built up before they meet and after they do there is no insta love. They may want to spend every moment together, but they both have lives and jobs and they work on them when they can. The story line introduced in book 1 continues and we see more of what's going on as Mitch tries to solve the case. One the two are together though, watch out the pages might just melt right before your eyes!!!

I'm loving this series and will definitely be on the lookout for the next one!

Meet The Author

Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It's always a surprise to see what's coming next!

I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!

Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.

Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.
