4 Stars

Ever wonder about how Jackie and William got together? Well now is your chance to learn their story.

If you're new to the series I definitely recommend reading from the beginning. This is one of the few series that I could honestly see being made into a movie with each store becoming more and more interesting.

William is one of the colony members that we haven't gotten to see a lot of although he's always been there and periphery. This shows his struggles throughout the years as he tries to find love in his eternal life. William is strong and caring and he takes his job very seriously. You see how his past has shaped him into who he is now and how he uses the resources he has available to him try make a difference.

Jackie is tough and independent. She has very strong ideals and isn't going to let what others think sway her when she believe something is right. She's passionate about her work and about the students and you see that throughout the story.

Their story is funny and sweet. showing how stubborn both of them can be at times but in the end of course we need that would I end up together. I loved seeing their sorry, and how they came to where they are now.

Regina Morris loves paranormal romances featuring vampires, but her personal taste is lighthearted and humorous – not horrific and gory. The White House, the President, and Washington D.C. are merely backdrops to support her romance stories. They offer some suspense, but her books are romances and not political thrillers.

Regina lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and two children. She enjoys meeting with her monthly critique writing groups and meeting other writers in the Austin area through the WLT events.

She has lived in many different parts of the world. She graduated high school in Germany and attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received a degree in Computer Science with a minor in math.

Besides writing, she is an amateur portrait and sports photographer. After enjoying a career in the software engineering business, she discovered that writing is in her blood, and had to put pen to paper!
