Moto Boy and My Moto Boy by Kay Manis

Title: Moto Boy & My Moto Boy
Series: X-Treme Boys #3 & #4
Author: Kay Manis
Genre: Sports Romance

Welcome back Dana Di Grazio. You fell in love with her in SKATER BOY. Now it’s time to tell her story.

Dana Di Grazio is fearless and feisty, but struggling to find her purpose in life. Hiding behind a hardened exterior, she’s erected walls to protect herself from the devastating losses of her past. When thrust into the role of caretaker for pro motocross rider, Peter Fontenot, her fortitude is threatened and she fears he might be the one man to finally break down her walls.

When an unexpected accident forces X Games champion, Peter Fontenot to rely on a foul-mouthed, Italian spitfire, he’s surprised to find himself drawn to someone so crass and ill-suited. Suddenly, Peter must rethink the expectations of his well-planned life. Dana is the one thing he doesn’t want, but she may be the only thing he can’t live without.

Can the spark between two opposites create a lasting fire? Or will it detonate an explosion that leaves them both alone...forever.

** Sometimes caring for others helps you find yourself **

Dana Di Grazio has overcome emotional and physical pain all her life. But when the man she’s finally given her heart to walks out of her life after learning all her secrets, she’s left feeling abandoned and alone, unworthy of love.

Professional motocross rider Peter Fontenot is faced with a choice – stay with the one woman who’s captured his heart, or fulfill obligations from his past. When Dana’s life is threatened in unimaginable ways, will Peter be able to reconcile his former self in time to save her? Can he show Dana that her life does have a purpose? Or will his declaration of love be too late?

Find out in this dramatic conclusion to Moto Boy, book 3 in the X-Treme Boys Series.

NOTE: MY MOTO BOY is not a standalone book. It is the conclusion to Dana and Peter’s story (MOTO BOY, Book 3 in the X-Treme Boys Series). This book contains adult material and is not suitable for readers under 18.

Moto Boy

4.5 STARS

The Characters carry over from Skater boy so you get some insight in to those you had grown to love in Book 1 & 2. Yes Moto boy can be read without reading 1 & 2 but I recommend them all...
So now what I thought.
First we have Dana Di Grazio, party girl, no attachments and just wants to have a little fun. Foul-mouthed, feisty and somewhat intimidating.
Second we meet Peter Fontenot X-Games Champion and all great guy. Not the kind a man who enjoys random hookups and one night stands. He just doesn't have the interest in meaningless sex.

Dana is struggling with her life. She is beginning to wonder if all the meaningless encounter she has had are really worth it. She sees Hindley, her best friend, with her now husband Rory and their child Abby. Feeling as though her life is missing the love and devotion they share for one another. Yet she has reasons for not getting to close and chose to keep them safely tucked away, not sharing with anyone other than those closes to her.
Yet the attraction she feels for Peter is beginning to play with a part of her heart she has kept hidden. But does Peter feel the same?
When he suffers injuries after a motocross accident, he begins to see a side of Dana he hadn't thought existed. He begins to feel things for the bad ass girl who at first he thought could never fit the wife mold he had aloud himself to imagine. But things change and when you feel it, you can not control who the person is that grabs a hold of you and holds you tight.
For once Dana gets a good guy and she deserves it.
But can she hold on to him or will everything from her past come between them and create a barrier against what that could have become...

My Moto Boy

4 Stars

When Dana finally let's go and shares you past with Peter, he makes her question that choice.
He rushes home to handle some unexpected family business and she is left hanging,
without knowing his true feeling regarding her past and all those heartbreaking moments that have made her withdraw herself before.
Peter too has secrets and things he had not yet shared with Dana.
When those secrets unfold Dana once again is left feeling as if she should just fall back in to her old ways.
But there is just one thing...
Peter isn't the type to let go and walk away from something he wants.
As his secrets are laid out for Dana, it is now up to her to accept his faults as he has hers.
Together can they survive, Lies and Deceit...
People who don't want them together and those who threaten their future.
