What a blast this series was! Now I read the Witch, the Wolf, and the Vampire Series first but this series can be read separate. Each series is about a different set of character, but you do see some overlap of them.

Ronan is The Boss of the SEB he can do whatever needs to be done to protect humans and supernaturals from the bad supernaturals only ever answering to the president if there if a true emergency. He sits behind his desk all day, and he hates it he misses field work. So when he sees a report that can't possibly be true he asks his sire about the facts and things are turned upside down from there. DRAGONS!!! And their real, now he has his mission to find this one and help it.

Starr has been running and hiding her whole life. She's tired, but knows she must always run, because to be caught is a fate worse than death. So a bloodsucker says he wants to help... yea right? Or could it possibly be true and she doesn't have to run anymore?

Ronan is the top dog. No one tells him what to do he tells them. He's alpha all the way, and when it comes to his people he cares about them all and wants to do anything he can to help.

Starr isn't the type of girl you can tell what to do. She does what she thinks is best and that's that. A big old Alpha male trying to tell her what to do is in for a shock when it comes to her. Shes got spunk and she's a character you absolutely love with all her fiestyness.

I enjoyed the storyline and was kept on edge waiting to see what would happen next. I loved the paranormal aspect and had fun diving right into this world feeling like I was right there along with the characters. Great read

Title:          Supernatural Enforcement Bureau, The Imprisoned Dragon and The Witch

Series:          Supernatural Enforcement Bureau (#2)
Genre:                                Paranormal/Urban Fantasy
Publisher:       Self Published

Blurb/Synopsis:

The call finally comes. Serge has located a remote cavern in the Rockies that holds a Dragon prisoner. Time is of the essence. Ronan and Starr rush to implement a rescue party and the Director of the SEB calls on his Sire, Josef, for help. After all, with Josef comes a very powerful Witch and a deadly Wolf. With dark magic in the mix he knows he will need Peri’s power if they’re to have any chance at success.

Plans seem to fall apart as they uncover a plot so mind-blowing that Ronan’s ‘boss’, the President of the United States, wants to send in the troops! Averting that disaster, he realizes the entire load now rests upon his shoulders.

Can he pull off a massive operation, covering the entire United States and beyond? Can Starr withstand a deadly blast of dark magic power?

Read Supernatural Enforcement Bureau, Book 2, The Imprisoned Dragon and The Witch, to find out.

Warning spoiler alert if you have not read Book1.

Ronan has saved Starr from the immediate threat, but now their mission is to rescue the dragon imprisoned and take out the main threat. Except things are worse then they expected and Ronan may have to call his boss because things are just that bad.

This continues their story, but you also start to see other characters POV's as they begin to find the happiness Ronan and Starr have. A surprising twist I enjoyed immensely.

Starr is as spunky as ever and she and Ronan have some knock out drag out fights about what she can and can't do and her safety.

Ronan is trying to learn the balance between protective and overbearing, but while Starr may not like it his heart is always in the right place and I loved him for that.

We see more of this world and the evils in it, but we also get to see the good things and who the SEB is always there for each other like one big family. Loved this addition to the series and and diving right into Book 3!

Book 3

Creed's story! Of all the side characters his was the one I most wanted to know and wow talk about your crazy storm!

Now this one is in the beginning mostly Creed and his story and problems, but you do still also see Ronan and Starr and the shocks that keep on coming from those two! We also see more of Sam and the surprise he found in the last book, as well as others that come to find each other.

There's action and lots of it. But this book is all about the conclusion and all the characters we've come to love getting settled and happy in their lives. If you think you know what happens next you never do and that was another thing that made this one my favorite of the series. This was a great series through and through and one I'll definitely be reading over and over.

Excerpts:

Ronan dialed a number from memory, it rang only once before being answered. “Ronan, a little early for house calls is it not?”
Josef, his Sire, spoke before he could get a word out. He checked his watch, it wasn’t that early. “Sorry, Josef, but we’ve got news; I need your help…”
Josef cut him off, “Done.”
Ronan smiled as he replied, “You’ve not even asked what it is yet.”
Josef’s answer was immediate. “That is irrelevant, if you require my help, then you shall have it. Now, Ronan, tell me what’s prompted this call for assistance.”
Ronan chuckled as he went on. “It’s news about the Dragon we know is being held in the Rockies. Serge, one of my Wolves, has found it. He’s waiting there as we speak and I think we may need Peri too. The Witch involved uses dark magic and we have Esther, but Paul told me how powerful Peri is and you did say she would help, if needed. I think we need her, Josef, together with you and Gabe. What do ya say? Want to come and help rescue a Dragon?”

Josef’s head swirled around. “I can sense magic.”
Charmaine let out a small whimper which had Sam holding her even closer. Peri’s hands were moving quickly, a silent and exquisite dance in front of her body. Just as Sam was about to ask Josef what it was he had sensed, all hell broke loose.
Gabe growled, leaping forward as he transformed so quickly that Sam barely heard the cracking of bones as he did so. Josef snarled and Peri shouted. “Gabe! No! Stay back!”
Sam pushed Charmaine behind him as he saw two hooded figures in the passage in front of them. The scent of dark magic cloying in the air around them. “Shit! Take care of her!” he shouted to the Elite squad at his rear as he moved forward, careful to stay out of the line of fire of the magic he knew Peri would be releasing.
He watched as Gabe’s Wolf closed the distance between them in mere seconds, his huge beast leaping towards the figures. The howl that the animal released told everyone he had met dark magic and his massive body fell like a stone, landing in a crumpled heap on the rock floor.
Josef’s loud roar and Peri’s scream turned his blood to ice. “Dear God, I hope he’s okay!” he thought, knowing if the Wolf was dead that Josef would go on a rampage like none he had ever witnessed. The bond between the two, or rather, now three, so great it was miraculous to witness.
