Ryan Michele has a huge obsession with reading, which only came to life after her best friend said she had to read Twilight. After reading that series, her entire world changed in the blink of an eye. Not only was she sucked into new worlds and all of the wonderful words authors put down on paper, she felt the urge to begin to write down the characters that played inside of her head. In doing so, Safe was born. When she’s not reading or writing, she spends time taking care of her two children and her husband, enjoying the outdoors and laying in the sun.

Did you see that little tidbit peak in the last book about what was to come? Well lets back up a bit and you'll get to see it from the beginning how Tanner came to be in the club and what it is that brought her to them for help.

She is feisty and a firecracker and is definitely not one to take crap from anyone. She knows when to ask for help and when to step back and allow things to run their course.

Rhys has had it tough but he survived a life most couldn't have dreamt of as a kid. He is hard as nails but when he wants something nothing will get in the way.

With a few twists and turns these two have an interesting start and I enjoyed seeing them learn about each other and learn to trust each other. My biggest issue with the story? The age difference. Yea I know people will come out one way or another on this subject and for me it was just a bit too much of one. Not only was Rhys 21 years older than Tanner, but he was also older than her mom. So sorry but that bit was just a bit much for me.

Overall though the story keeps you interested and of course I enjoyed seeing more of the entire MC!
