Breaking Out by Michelle Diener
3.5 Stars
Short story about a trio of paranormal people breaking out of prison. But that's all this story was about. What was there was interesting, but there was no reference to the story. How did they get there how did they get their abilities, and what happened to them after they escaped? All questions that weren't answered. This would've been great if there was a back story or just more to it instead it felt like a few chapters out of a bigger story.
The Halloween Prince by Edie Ramer

This story is about two minor characters from two separate series combining into this short story.
When widow Sarah breaks down right before a storm she finds herself at the door of a handsome man she can't seem to keep away from. And from there they have two blissful months of secret rendezvous at his cabin before their lives catch up to them and force them to decide if what they have is more than just sex.
Ryan was ready to change his ways, it started before he met her, but Sarah made it all rush forward faster than before. He wants more than to be a secret, but what will she want?
This was a short read about two lonely people finding happiness in each other, but being afraid to move forward until outside forces force them to confront their feelings. Sweet read with just a pinch of paranormal added into the mix.

Another uber short read. This one was about Colleen a woman who can see spirits. She ghosts of her town are afraid and it's up to her and a paranormal hunter hottie who called her a fraud once before to figure things out and save the ghosts from a fate they don't deserve.
Colleen is sassy and spunky I loved her character and the story. If there were more books about her adventures with ghosts I'd definitely read them!
